I appreciate the honesty of this video, show your mistakes, everyone learns. Too many fake FPV experts nowadays calling themselves “no it alls” and just doing retakes and hiding their mess ups. Good work!

Great video...glad to have been a part in it. There are definitely some tips we should have menrioned...1)move your control surfaces to loosen the hinge prior to maiden 2) glue the mounting plastic pieces for each control surface

Just got one of these. The control surfaces are pretty stiff, so I'm planning on hinging the elevator and ailerons.

Nice flights guys! I love my T1 rangers . A bit twitchy because of the large aileron surfaces so im going to move my connecting rod closer to the servo to limit the throws so it’s not so twitchy

I've been flying FPV quads for 3 years now and really wanting to get a wing. This T1 Ranger is the one I've been wanting to get as a beginner. It looks like something that can be fun for a beginner and experienced wing pilot.

Great video. It seems challenging for me with mediocre eyesight to fly without stabilization. I think Digital FPV might make that possible (quad flier). Are you using 100% authority on your controls, and what did you set expo to (second, more controlled flight).

What controller and FPV camera do you recommend? Is there any “universal” controllers available with a built in screen for FPV or allow an IPhone to be used as a FPV screen as supposed to buying a dedicated FPV screen? What is the range? Thanks

Radiomaster is a great FPV radio company, and I recommend the DJI Digital FPV system for video transmission. No, there's not really a way to fly using an iPhone because the latency delay would be too high. You need instant video transmission which would come from the goggles. Unbroken line of sight, you can get a mile or two with DJI FPV. Best to stay closer though.

The FPV camera is the Caddx Nebula Pro Nano, but the action cam is the Insta360 Go 2.

Yes but luckily it glued together very easily and flies like new. Also the tail boom probably wouldn't have broken if they had shipped me the carbon fiber version (which they were supposed to).

FAA Requiers LOS (Line of Site) You guys are the reason the GOBBERM'nt is messing with Model Aviation. Yes your out where no manned aircraft fly, but posting to U-Tubby is just stupid for the hobby. Othe wize Congrats to real R/C flying not that Quad Crap.

FAA requires LOS unless you have a visual observer. I'm sure you noticed him standing there at the beginning and throwing the T-1. And yes, I'm out where no manned aircraft fly. Period. Stop there. And I might post some more quad crap soon specifically just for you to enjoy.
