The "ask error sans" comic is the ORIGINAL comic of error that could answer some of ur questions about error's origin and the swap sans in the white void here (and also it's very entertaining, worth the watch). In Underverse, Fatal Error was trying to attack XGaster through Cross's code.

He was trying to get Overwright By doing so, he can make the perfect papyrus without having to steal code because. Pressing overwrite can make it where you can do just about anything.

So it's can't delete/replace/change or anyhow manipulate glitchy or messed up code, not sure about creating one though 2. It's power limited to the power of the user. So like Xchara, using it, with 9/10 of determination soul had a big effect, but not that much. While X gaster having overwrite/purple soul had full control of the button. If it worked otherwise, X Gaster could just go "Buff me" and become invincible god like error 404 sans, but he can't. 3. Even if fatal gets the button, he can't really bring back his papyrus, cuz he long forgot how his normal self looks, and of course he DON'T know how original papyrus code looks. Besides the fact what fatal IS a glitch, it's 50/50 if the button will even gonna be useful here

He knows what if he just goes to head on fight X gaster, then X gaster will run away like a coward, so he decided what he can hurt X Gaster through cross code somehow

I'd say that Error and Fatal Error are equal in strength and abilities. In their battle victory depends on strategic thinking, so Error with his experience in multiple battles with various opponents could have won if he wouldn't be distracted. Fatal Error mostly fights people by sneak-attacking, because of his unstable mind. He's powerful and smart, but because of his insanity he can start attacking imaginary opponents or just stall, which is why calm Error (if he'd be calm) can set a trap for Fatal. However, we've seen the exact opposite situation where Error was so distracted by Ink, that Fatal basically created a trap for him during their conversation. I recommend watching "Fatal Error Vs Error Sans [REMASTERED]" animation to see what would happen in their battle if both had a cool head.

Best source of Error's story is "Ask Error Sans". So you'd better watch it later. However, I still recommend watching Underline Au for interesting take on Undertale's backstory.

its assumed that gaster promised fatal something, but he most likely control_v'd the copy of cross during the fight, or it might be a different au version of cross since he still has the jacket in fatal error. like i said prior there are more then one of each character, just because one cross dies doesn't mean the "original" one does. for example the fatal we see might be fatal 2 [meaning a duplicate au] rather then fatal error's fatal, same with cross x gaster might not have ever existed in fatal error's au so he could have found just a random cross in a blank void and took him.

Seems like you missed my comment to watch file not found a fatal error side comic it adds some extra context to the fatal error series, also ask error is a bit long but it explains why underswp sans was in the anti-void, id still recommend watching em maybe on your own time or maybe a video on em, file not found is a couple minutes and ask error is a ittle over an hour i believe btw glad you enjoyed the fatal error series, its one of my favourites too

Fatal is up there with my favourites. I'd probably place him as my 4th favourite, maybe 5th. Abyss is my favourite, with Ink and Epic being 2nd and 3rd. The only other Sans I might place above Fatal is Reaper, but I'm not sure on that.

I recommend you timetale, the comics have finished its first and second chapters but the last pages did not get dubbed. warning : contain past salphys (sans x alphys) relathionship comics made by AllesiaTheHedge, dubbed by Sans Comic TV to the page 127 of chapter 2 with chapter 2 finish in comics with 140 pages. chapter 3 has just begun

I honestly, I really hate Sans Comic TV Error and Fatal error voice, it's too glitchy to work and It's constant. That's why I'm more drawn to Mr Amazing VA. and the Underverse Dub where error has a regular voice, but it will sometimes glitch.
