The bunker on the surfaceworld in Deltarune plays a very slowed and quiet version of Gasters speech noises. Standing next to the bunker, if you turn the volume up and speed up the audio you can hear the same sound playing as Gasters speech in Undertale or the garbage noise in Deltarune.

32:51 so there IS another possible creation that could have melted him, though I’m not 100% sure if he made it. In the true lab in Undertale, there’s a big machine that looks like a Gaster Blaster called “DT Extractor.” DT is more than likely supposed to stand for Determination, and we know that monsters that get injected with it melt. Idk if he accidentally go hit with DT or if he might have been testing it on himself, but that could be another possible creation he could have “fallen into”
@KynG510 ай бұрын
There's also something SUPER interesting to keep in mind in Chapter 1. If you close the game *before saving* in Chapter 1, the SAVE select screen looks COMPLETELY different. It's black and green, similar to the battlebox. Like a screen to an older computer. You can manipulate these files and a voice (a very very familiar voice) tells you what happens to those files in a very methodical, scientific manner. also regarding 31:40, Gaster is known for typing things in all caps. the DT EXTRACTOR is labeled in all caps. DT standing for DETERMINATION. Falling into a machine made for siphoning *Determination* (the universe resetting juice) SEEMS like a pretty good way to shatter yourself across time and space, thanks to Determination itself being JUST a nebulous enough concept to pull that logic through with

Stuff like lore revealed the Spamton Sweepstakes event that took place about a year ago, or the fact that Deltarune has a secret element system (like wearing special armor to reduce damage from cat type attacks) If you want to check that out, I’d say at least check out HalfBreadChaos’s video “Why does Deltarune have an Element System” first, and then watch “Puppet and Cats Elements Revealed” next back to back. If you want to go really into Gaster stuff musically, from the perspective of someone w a background in music theory, Everything About Gaster's Motif in the Deltarune Soundtrack by Andrew Cunningham is excellent (and also really entertaining)! It is pretty long tho, so idk if it would be the best for a reaction vid, but it's worth watching anyway if you're interested. Mollystars Device Theory videos go p deep into Gaster shit but are VERY VERY long, so uh, prob not great reaction material, but cool if you're just interested in it on your own Might be worth looking into some Spamton Sweepstakes stuff for fun, just bc that whole thing was so batshit AND also gives some new information on Deltarune characters Also just a note: Kris uses they/them pronouns! It's not super uncommon for players to miss it, but "they" is used for them every time they are referred to in the game, done repeatedly and by a variety of characters (and since Kris being someone separate from the player is one of the central Things of Deltarune, it doesn't make sense for that to be for the sake of player projection).

First of all i want to preface this by saying before you watch any videos people request of you: watch the iceberg video. there are probably lots of lore things that you will get flashbanged in the face with no explanation if you decide to watch more videos before the iceberg (not just UT/DR lore but Toby Fox lore, and Community lore mostly) also what iceberg video are you watching? if you are watching silentchatterbox52's iceberg it should be known it came out before chapter 2 of Deltarune so they made a follow up video specifically on chapter 2 a while after it's release. SOOOOOOOOO.... i'm not sure how to say this but uuhhh I'M GOING TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE DELTACAST!!!!! They are not a podcast but a group of individuals that have had a decent impact to the UT/DR community (they also collaborated and made a 6 part series called the deltacast) -MysticSlime: Variety!!! He Dabbled in a little bit of theory, but what he's mainly known for is modded challenge runs of UT/DR! (WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THE ASRIEL CUT) -HalfBreadChaos: The only one of us who actually knows what the hell a line of code is. makes around 10 to 20 minute videos about weird topics that no one else can do due to their knowledge of coding a whatnot -AndrewCunningham: well edited video essays. makes theories using facts and logic. The main thing for a lot of his videos is that you should make your conclusion based on the evidence. does killer streams as well. -Out_SiN: just a guy who made a video or two but mostly hangs around Andrew's discord server and streams. -Dorked: Creator of Inverted fate (Renowned Undertale AU) does analysis/discussion type videos -JaruJaruJ: LONG form theory crafting channel. Plays up the theatrics in certain videos. also does rankings once in a blue moon. (a personal fave is an 8 hour long vid where he ranked Deltarune's soundtrack) -Shayy: VERY GOOD UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE SPEEDRUNNER other than that he's kinda just a guy i think. These are just a bunch of creators i think you should check out on your own time.

We've established that Gaster is probably talking to the secret bosses but a question I have is why he is talking to these characters. What is the point of Gaster calling Jevil and Spamton (and what will most likely be 6-7 characters over the course of the game) to tell them they world isn't real? Also why would Jevil and Spamton (and potentially others) be convinced by a phone call? I believe there is more to their connections and it could be that Gaster has sought them out due to some qualities they have. I don't have the evidence to back it up, but until I'm proven wrong I would like to believe that Gaster called the secret bosses one by one to be the Roaring Knight and when they rejected Gasters offer he revealed to them the nature of the Deltarune universe. Regardless of what happens I'm excited to see how Deltarune unfolds and how Gasters connections to the game develop! Thanks for the content as always!

I can just see the gears turning in your head during the entire video 😂 Welcome to the easter eggs/theory crafting side of UTDR! Now I'll get REALLY rambly srry -You're not wrong for assuming Knight!Kris theory, Toby WANTED us to think that. The fanbase has just now analyzed other possible candidates, possibly debunking the theory. Noelle & Berdly beat Kris & Susie to the library; it's implied someone can hide in that room's closet. Kris was scared/shocked to see the Ch1 fountain n backed off. There's a "2 Knights" theory, but maybe that'll get hinted/debunked in Ch3-4. -There's 3 possible creations in my opinion. 1. The Core; made of geothermal energy and possibly magic, and if mysterman=Gaster then his appearance makes sense. It's likely he doesn't speak to us cause he's THAT shattered. 2. The DT Extraction machine; shutdown in the True Lab and isn't Alphys's original creation. She followed blueprints she found (read early lab entries) and it has a skull shape like Sans's Gaster Blasters. Monsters can't handle Determination (which controls "fate"), so if he gained "too much" falling into it, he melted and became omniscient 3. Dark Worlds, which if he got DT it's possible he found a way to make them and disappeared shortly. -There's a pattern targetting easily manipulatable and potentially powerful characters, which both Gaster/"mystery person" and You (via Kris) do, and their minds break easily because they have weaknesses. Jevil was esentially exploited for entertainment and Seam was his only known friend. Spamton was desperate for fame and social status. Jevil got some exposure to "mystery person" and rebelled with meaningless freedom; he just wants fun now. Spamton got help from this person and found success...until he was completely abandoned while learning the truth. Now he's a broken mess seeking higher status ("heaven") to find meaningful freedom. Important to note, anyone close to them get hurt by proxy. Seam's nihilistic, not crazy. Spamton mentions "Mike," who we now know is likely a friend he's aggresively protective of. -I agree that Susie and Ralsei would be hard to target since Susie defied US, the SOUL (which EASILY manipulates Kris, explaining their attachment?) and Ralsei just...seems to "already know" some stuff. There's tons of Ralsei speculation and who he is, so dig this up on your own time! -This comment is too long, but just know Kris is almost in the same boat as Gaster when it comes to speculation. They aren't evil. Their origins are completely mysterious, and so are their intentions, but knowing how tightly they cling to Susie makes me think they're also trying to "escape" the truth, "escape" our control on them. They are a separate entity from US but we don't know much other than that. I don't know if Gaster speaking with them would have an effects since it's been implied they've likely already encountered a mysterious force. Maybe that's why they've been extremely quiet and scared of the first Dark World, plus silent/scared of the town bunker.

Tbh the kris knight theory isn't bad, we literally see them create a fountain, the end of chapter 1 could've been when they setup the computer lab fountain, and there's literally no other candidates as of now. People say the lab had to have been created after noell and berrly entered the lab, but we still don't fully know the mechanics of the fountains, perhaps they can be remote activated or go off after enough time passes, perhaps they're only activate when the knight is close to them. We don't know enough about the fountains to say "kris can't be the knight because of how the fountains work"

I unironically like sans is ness, because i actually took it seriously, and i saw how heart broken Matthew was in his next few theories.

You should watch pretty much all of two left thumbs deltarune videos There's some repeated videos bc of updated and compilated videos Although i don't think you should watch them on a react, it's better to watch at your time, when you wanna relax and etc, but besides those, the video resuming the spamton sweepstakes i think is worth reacting It was a pretty big and interesting event

Also, if you want to hear gaster's motif in other things, there's this LONG video from Andrew Cunningham which as he explains lots of music theory, he shows lots of music that have gaster theme and can have connections, it's pretty interesting

Well, if you want to know more about Gaster, I recomand you that video : kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4W5ZGOQfMeLmJY It's the first part of a 30 minutes 3 videos series that theorize about what could be Gaster. It's a french youtuber with great thinking and analysis. He also made some videos about Undertale and Deltarune on his channel : kzbin.info/www/bejne/roS5o4yFjceXqpI

You should watch the fan animated series glitchtale, and after watching a video called what the Internet did to Undertale you will understand more about AU's and you could watch underverse

Ehh, idk if I want Camila Cuevas to get more views and consequently more money, Underverse/Xtale is more interesting anyways
@crosswaveproductions189510 ай бұрын
@@mariotheundyingthe whole situation with Camilla always felt off to me like The story of the controversy was iffy on both ends.wether someone watches it or not with or without the controversy the series was kinda dead. But the series was good and had a good ending. And as much as I like underverse better than glitchtale. For getting into the Undertale animated series glitchtale is far less confusing to start off with than underverse and Xtale

Tin foil hat moment that no one will read Alphy's was experimenting with Determination and created the amalgamates Gaster being the Royal Scientist before Alphy's could've had his hands on determination It's said he fell into his creation Gaster is heavily associated with things being "Darker yet Darker" Entry 17 shows in wingdings about an experiment with things getting interesting addressing two people at the end Deltarune introduces Dark Worlds showing they are contained in a room of varies size but can eventually cover the entire world if enough fountains are made Deltarune Chapter 2 Introduces the idea of wielding a blade of determination to strike the earth will create another fountain and expand the Dark World Berdly was about to course his Halberd and create another fountain showcasing that Berdly, a monster, has enough determination to create a Dark World The Spamton Sweepstakes had hidden images referencing "Darker yet Darker" and "Darker" So with these evidence points and my tin foil hat, I can conclude that there was a possibility that Gaster while experimenting with determination may have created a dark world, eventually something happened and made in fall into the world of darkness similarly to how Kris and Susie first fell into the supply closet dark world. If Gaster is a Skeleton and has connection to Sans and Papyrus, it may explain why there is a Deltarune fast travel door within their house. But wait you might be asking yourself...How is there a fast travel door if they aren't in a dark world? Well hold on tight to that tin foil hat but there's a good chance the reason why Gaster fell into a "Darker yet Darker" place was because they were already in a dark world. Now I know that seems wild but we have yet to see the effects of opening a fountain while in a dark world. And to ask, why would the underground be a dark world? Because not only did all the children happen to FALL down into the underground but because the humans are the ones who made the barrier. From Undertale and Deltarune, Frisk and Kris have never been seen to use magic, in fact humanity itself doesn't seem to have magic since they evolved technologically based on how similarly the stuff from the human world is to ours, I mean come on, from Phones, to guns and anime, The humans seem to not possess magic, therefore Humans are not capable to create a magical barrier sealing monsters underground. But humans do have one thing, they have Determination, they have the power to open a dark world and trap monsters inside. The reason why the monsters can't leave? They don't have a human soul. They NEED a human soul to cross the barrier, similarly to how Kris is the only one who can seal Dark World Fountains. Not Susie. has to be Kris with their soul. Its true that Susie is able to leave with Kris from the Supply Closet but considering how they had to seal the old classroom fountain and Library's fountain to leave properly, there's a chance that the Pure dark fountain in the supply closet works differently than other dark fountains. So considering Humans can't use magic but have determination to make dark worlds, Gaster fell into his creation and is now stuck in "Darkness", Monsters are unable to leave but humans can enter and seemingly their soul is able to seal/destroy the barrier for good. (Alphy's mentions you need a monster and human soul to exit but since the only record of someone leaving was Asriel who absorbed a human soul, there's a good chance that it's not completely factual) [ Also worth noting that despite Asgore's soul being destroyed by Flowey, Frisk seems to have disappeared as sans is only able to leave a voice message, there's a good chance this means Frisk was able to cross the barrier alone]
