sorry to burst your bubble on the "another medium" connection, but thats just a reference to the comic homestuck since another medium shares a lot with a song toby made for it. homestuck features a place called "the medium" and since its a webcomic not a game, undertale is lieterally "another medium" from homestuck. so its a reference and a pun

one thing i think makes for a neat detail is that toriel and asgore have the same theme but are in different time signatures to like symbolically represent that they had a relationship but are no longer on the same page the ruins theme and the snowdin theme appear everywhere, they seem to represent the underground and monsters as a whole. its a little odd to me that muffet uses the ghost motif but i suppose toby knows a banger when he hears one and shes spooky enough ig. i love the its all connected video, if youre still looking for recommendations, theres one explaining the secret messages in the code that were briefly mentioned in the gaster's theme videos by HalfBreadChaos called Goner Code

Ghost Fight is considered the mini-boss theme and Muffet's a mini-boss, I think it's also why it plays in Dogbass.

Mini bosses all get related themes. It just so happenes that muffet is like the one mini boss to not be a ghost, probably cause she wasn't an original character, but iirc a fan character that Toby added to the game after reaching a goal on the kickstarter

Did I miss it or did Gaster Theme not show up in this video? If it didn't that also makes sense since he's somewhat disconnected from the world and would therefore have a completely disconnected theme. But if that's not the case they either forgot it or I accidentally skipped over it.
