I own an E1 (for its simplicity) and an E7 (for features). I like the form factor, and the camera-type buttons. Like you, I value the AAA back-up. And because of the LiFePo chemistry, it's safe for air-travel too. They are nice "tech" lights and real conversation starters.

I have the angel eyes E3 . It's my most used flashlight for walking my dogs at night due to its size.. love that it has dual battery feature

It would be better to use a lithium AAA for this light so you never have to worry about the alkaline corroding.

Best to avoid alkaleaks altogether especially In expensive electronics.

@va7oloko4 ай бұрын
to my understanding that is only possible when you have more than one battery cell. These lights have one cell per circuit.
@MattH-wg7ouАй бұрын
@@va7oloko your understanding that alkalines only can leak if there is more than one cell? Or that using Lithiums is only possible when using more than one cell? Pardon my ignorance on the matter! Genuine question, as I had never heard either of these possibilities before.

Love my aurora a3. Got tired of messing around with batteries so rechargeable is nice.

Interesting light. The dual battery is Interesting. But I wonder how much more performance they could have gotten from just making the internal Li battery double the size? But there is something to be said for being able to just drop any old AAA in. Interesting! I wonder if it would be good to run the AAA first and have the built in as a backup or the other way around?
@leodesforges1612 күн бұрын
You can do it, but the performance with the AAA is WAY less than with the built-in battery.

I highly recommend Manker E03H II, NOT MANKER E03 H III, it has moonlights 0,1, 0,2, 0,3, 0,5, 1 and 15 lumens with 1,2 and 1,5 v battery. You need this flashlight. It has red, green and whitr pĺastic filters and also works with 0,6-0,8v allready used batteries and 3,7v 14500. I bought it for 20$ in april 24 without battery

I really liked the E7, but somewhere between pocket or clipped on belt, the case cracked. It works fine and it's a hairline crack that may not even leak, but made me rotate it out. Currently carrying the Boruit V15 that's a bit bigger and brighter, and has a much more robust 2-way clip, and costs less.

I love rovy lites. I think they are cool and useful. And yes, I also have several models. I have one problem I have? How long do they take to fully charge ? I've had two different models charging for 4 hours, and the charging led stays blue ?

@CAIDMASTEROFPYRO6 ай бұрын
This would be even better if instead of a lithium and a aaa it used two 10440s, recharge as normal and they both recharge but if you ever run out you can still buy AAA and use the light.

It is a cool flash light, but $50 buck's is pushing it. I do have a nice and bright head lamp for night fishing that is rechargeable that last with a charge for a few hour's. That little light would be cool for a bike head lamp for riding at night.
