They certainly make some interesting claims about that multi radial rifling in regards to accuracy, velocity, improved BC, reduced barrel heat, longer barrel life etc. and yet seem to offer all the features a guy would want at half the price of some of the competition… I’ll be interested to hear your experience with it.

That's a nice looking package for 12 bills in todays market. About 10 years ago, a dealer here had some Sabatti double rifles, the 45-70 was so awesome.

Glad you mentioned the velocities. Other reviews I've seen would show accuracy but not mention velocity which is one of Sabatti's claims. Good job for a big 👍 Keep us posted after you've had a chance to get it broken in.

I used to have a Sabatti Rover 222rem 30 years ago , it was an excellent little Fox rifle ... I'd like to get another one some day , probably a 22-250 I reakon.

I looked at Sabatti rifles for too long, and now when I'm ready to buy one, the dealer I was looking at, is out of stock. Oh well, next time I won't wait so long. That's a great looking Italian rifle you have there and in 6.5 Creedmore too,.. yeah buddy!

Great rifle. I like the ST18 for hunting and fun range day's as a little lighter to carry. Here in the UK we have the 28" barrel version great for range day's and competitions. Also not entirely sure but I believe US version accepts AICS compatible magazine's. Good video sir 👍.

Nice rifle. I just put a Boyds stock and new scope on my creedmoore just over 12 lbs and I also picked up some Alpha brass also. I have had much of a chance to shoot it yet but soon.

Man good looking rifle looks just like my 6.5 WSM. The only thing I don't like about your set up is that the scope is to high above the barrel but is just me my personal taste you know...Great to see you again!

For sure. It hasn't been broken in yet. And the brass isn't even fire formed.

Yeah I don't have much luck with copper bullets in general. The Sauer 100 shot an okay group with this ammo. But we've tested it in a few different rifles and it doesn't group very well.

My Gen 1 (26”) 6.5CM shoots 0.3~4” group at 300yd. At 100yd, one hole. : Sightron 32X socpe with previous Prime ammo equipped with 130gr Swiss Ruag bullets. (Now Norma makes it, I hope you try it) It was a shocker. Even at 700 yard , I did not miss any of clay pigeons(laid on the ground as targets) at the first shot.

Not sure if you like chassis rifles, but if you do you should check out the Sabatti ST18, lovely rifle.

In mine who s chambered in 300 win mag , it s RWS Ammo in 190 Gr élite match that give thé best résult at 200 m by now, i dont try at 300 m..

What's the warranty on this Sabatti rifle? Have you had any problems with it requiring you to contact support and if so, how was your experience? (i was told by IFG that the warranty is only one [1] year...)

@@ChuckinTV I'm having a hard time contacting their support - three emails so far to info@ in as many days and nothing yet. I'm afraid that the support is just not there for this brand in the US. It doesn't bode well to sell a rifle and run for the hills of Val Trompia. Did they not include warranty information in the manual (if one came with the rifle?) And who would perform the warranty work here in the US? It's all a bit sketchy, considering Sabatti's been around for a minute now. Franchi, for example (I have the Momentum in 223,) had an outstanding support - they paid for shipments both ways and the turnaround was 2 weeks (and they fixed the issue properly). That's the kind of support I would expect. BTW, because of it, I ended up buying a $2k over under from Franchi - knowing that someone has your back's all that matters somtimes. Given all this, I hope you don't haveta go seeking support from Sabatti, 'cause so far, all signs point to 0.

I'm not sure this is helpful, but here are my observations about their cousins: I have a Sabatti Urban Sniper and a Tikka T3x CTR, both in 308Win, both with a 20" barrel. The Tikka's bolt was just buttery smooth out of the box, the Sabatti's may get there, sometime in the future. With quality ammo and in my hands the Tikka performs a hair better. Surprisingly my Sabatti repeatably outshoots my Tikka with cheaper ammo. With the ultra cheap GGG 148gr factory ammo e.g., it still manages MOA groups at 100m (about 110yds), while the Tikka spreads it around an area the size of a palm. The Sabatti's MRR rifling seems to be able to better tame the unruly stuff. Sample size in both cases is one, so take this with a grain of salt. I might accidentally have picked up Tikka's lemon of the year and Sabatti's unicorn.

Agree. Overall quality= Tikka Accuracy = Rover tactical 6.5. 100yd one hole, 300yd 0.3” group with Norma (Ruag 130gr) . Mine is 26” Gen 1 topped with Sightron 32X. And I did barrel braking in process just in case. The trigger is adjustable but comes with old shcool round shoe and poor quality (long creep) , But Still shockingly accurate even with it , so I will never sell it. I think accuracy comes from multi radial rifling barrel.
