Definitely. I moved out of 20 year relating In with son and grandson which was so wonderful. My ex was heart broken, but then, within few months, he met the love of his life and realized I was right to leave. His love passed away. Now, we are close friends like family, talk on phone several times a day. Like sisters!

I drooled when I seen her kitchen. I have a full size former kitchen with no counters or cupboards. Just a wood stove and an electric stove. Behind it is a galley kitchen with a foot of counter space on one side of the sink and two feet on the other side of the sink. And a fridge is stuck into one style of cupboard and above the sink is another style of cupboard. I am sad. lol

Only just saw your video announcing the divorce, as a suggestion by KZbin. How I feel for you. I have lived through a divorce (no children yet-it was hard enough), and then a decade later was widowed with two little girls. Very happily married again and we had more children! We had a farm and a blog and that ended with a medical diagnosis. I feel such empathy for you-I wanted to hug you! I do want to be a beacon of hope. Though living in suburbs now and medically retired, our children are healthy and happy! I live on the same street as two of my grandchildren. I know you can’t imagine that now but grand parenting is so wonderful! Bless you and your family! ❤❤❤

Sometimes you know your garden or garden bed just isn’t working-plants aren’t happy where they are placed, soil/soul needs amending, weeds are taking over, it’s getting too much or not enough water-but we stick it out hoping it will pull through. Nature takes over and the garden isn’t pretty and just dies back-so we get to start over with the lessons we learned and re-create the garden designing it and amending it, nurturing it with all that we have taken away from the old garden and all that we dream of for what’s next-and we come out the other side thriving and alive! I wish I'd known about your farm when I lived in Kelowna two years ago. I would have come out and volunteered to help you. I'm a horticulturist but retired. I left Kelowna because I couldn't afford a home there and so had to live in a condo which made it impossible to grow things. I now have a beautiful garden full of flowers, but the Alberta winters are nasty and I'd like to move back. If I do, I need a place to put my hands in the soil and grow things.

A clean slate! That's what garden dreams are made of. when I gardened, I had a sun flower garden and a shade flower garden. The shade garden was my sanctuary, with a 2000 gal goldfish pond. that I could look down on from my kitchen and see the fish. I had the waterfall area filled with flowering shade plants and it was beautiful. I miss it so much here in senior housing.
