Mechanic advice , you should add and check oil level when motor is level not tilted for more accurate and if that 9.9 has filter like yamaha check after running also ..... Enjoy new inflatable!! just a thought might be more comfortable move seat forward positon then add xtension to tiller then can sit sideways.......put old carpet down for your ramp when coming in sounded rough on boat lol

One idea for launching with the cart, keep it strapped on and step into the bow dry then move to the stern to float it. Paddle/pole to the dock then release the cart and pull it up onto the dock and lash it to a cleat so it doesn't escape. when you return put it back on at the dock and drive up on the ramp (putting a heavy rubber mat down to drive up on may help with wear). You can walk off dry and roll her to her spot after a rinse. That FishSkiff looks like a fun boat. I wonder how she'd do offshore a bit on a calmish day? Subbed to both channels, tight lines🤙🏼

Butter burns use a higher smoke point. I use extra light olive oil and ghee (better for the heart). You can add ghee to peanut oil, too.

Try avocado oil. It has a high smoking point, add butter if you want the flavor, but with that Kentucky chicken fry, you need oil. Never used on fish, but its damn good on chicken. In a rush, i usually use Louisiana fish fry. Cajun or hot. Kentucky may be a little "heavy" for fish?

My name is Robert from the Colorado River rat freshwater I used to live in California get a lot of fishing San Diego, point Loma, Baja, San Felipe Mexico, I know the Honda motor has manual you should pick him up and take a peek once in awhile to make sure you got everything correct. I had a 14 ft River Queen freehold aluminum boat with a 9.9 Mercury four-stroke the Sweet Little engines nice and quiet no smoke no freaking fumes or anything. I mean they're going to have to watch the video again cuz I didn't get the price on the boat and the price on the outboard curious and how much it cost looks like a sweet sturdy rig though enjoy and catch a lot of big fish.

As many types of species that you catch & cook, I recommend a rating system utilizing the tenth place ... i.e. 8.9 or 9.1. Here are some additional fun facts on the Mojarra fish: Mojarras are silvery fishes with compressed bodies; they are distinguished by their highly protrusible mouths, with the opened jaws forming an extended tube. Although their maximum length is about 35 cm (14 inches), most species of mojarra do not attain lengths greater than 25 cm (10 inches). As adults, they only average 3 to 8 inches long and usually weigh less than a pound. The biggest Mexican mojarra caught was 15 inches long and weighed 2.5 pounds. I'd say yours is definitely a GIANT! Congrats on a successful ceremonial Christening of the SeaEagle! Cool boat!

Great vid again. Love sand brim aka majara I used to catch it by accident cast netting for bait in the Gordon river in Naples. So good I’m going to get one now that I saw this vid. Best meat I cook it on a low heat so low the butter doesn’t brown with nothing but salt or lemon pepper. Thanx man

No on the butter, it will quickly burn and ruin your food. You can pan fry a filet with butter and olive oil on low heat, or just use something like peanut oil for frying at high temperatures

Just saying, but I gotta ask.. when you serviced the eng with oil.. Please go back and read owners manual, unless it says check and add oil in tilt position, it probably should do checking and adding oil in the operating (run) position, not tilted.. Good chance oil level is low during braking in run... let me know what you find ?

Butter can be brought to 350 the internet says. I recommend buying ghee. You can get it organic grass fed and it has a smoke point of 465 I think they said.

Clarified butter has a high smoke point and won't burn your fish, but gives you a buttery taste. It's just butter with the fat (cream) pulled out. You can get it anywhere, it's called "GHEE". It's well worth the few extra $$$. Keep up the good work!

As long as its pointed into the waves its no issue getting though light surf. Also the boat is super durable and can handle a lot but a sharp fish spine dropped at the right angle could potentially prick the material but would take well over a week to leak air. The boat has 4 high pressure chambers so it is very safe and solid. The boat comes with a easy patch repair kit for those very rare cases. So you want crispy fried fish? Replace about a quarter of whatever flour/ crumb mixture you would be using with, drum roll please, CORNSTARCH. You want to understand the science behind it or do you just want to give it a go? Hint, it helps prevent gluten development. Works great in tempura batter too if you are looking for a lighter crispier batter coating. Last secret is to use clarified butter. It has a higher smoke point and makes it easier to crisp the dish without burning the butter. Clarify your own Amish Butter or use Ghee. Tight lines
