I spent quite a lot of time on one of these cutting all around Waverley surrey I was on that mower all day from the start of the day to the end it was a brilliant piece of kit and then the company got me a new john deere 1445 to play around on

mark willard They are excellent machines and a joy to mow with. The 1445s are really nice. The 7 iron decks on them cut pretty nice from what I've heard.

These things are awesome! They are so manuverable and so powerful. I have the 925 and love it. I would highly recommend it. I love the hydraulic front lift.

Yep, it sure is! I still haven't adjusted to the size of this thing yet! I really like how JD built this one on the 55 series power train because it is a very heavy duty and well built drive train. I love the yanmar engine too.

Chevy Orange Deere Green They are awesome to mow on. The power and visibility is excellent on these. And yeah there isn’t a whole lot of info on them since their weren’t as many sold as lawn and garden tractors. It seems that mostly municipalities and commercial customers purchased them. These are awesome machines. I use to work for JD, saw a bunch of these go out the door. Very fast and really reliable. Even saw several lawn companies use them as a brush hog.

How well do these mow on hills? I wonder about cross ways. I have a pond and the sides of it cannot be mowers with a zero turn and I am wanting to change it up from my garden tractor.

hey man, really nice mower, I'm looking at an f 935, I have some moderately sized yards, and it has a 60in deck, what types of yards do you mow and do you ever have any issues with such a large deck?

Thanks! The F935 is a great unit. I mow yards slightly less than an acre in size, the 72'' deck is a little large at times but it is a highly productive machine. My only complaint is that this machine really doesn't stripe well. I'm considering building a striper. If taken care of with proper maintenance, these are 5,000+ hour machines.

My scag had some issues and was going to need some major work done, it was low on power and the hydros were going south. I was going to have to dump a large amount of money into it to fix it. What I didn't like about the scag was it could only mow. I'm looking into a plow or snow thrower for this machine. I've been a john deere guy for my whole life so the F1145 was a no brainer.

Oh OK. I've always liked the john Deere tractors. I used to like there zero turns but I heard some bad reviews on them. I've always liked SCAG but yeah. That's a good mower you got right there. But u should try the john Deere ztrak 997. That's a beast of a mower.

lawnchaser Yeah, I was never a huge fan of JD zero turns. The guy I got the F1145 from actually had a 997 ztrak for sale but it was way out of my budget. The 997 is a tank and that yanmar diesel is built very well and very powerful.

lawnchaser Yeah exactly, those older ones are built well. I like the 777 with the liquid cooled Kawi. He was selling the 997 for 7,500 it had 1300 hrs.
