I own 2. One with a 60" deck and snowblower, the other with a 72". The money I save with the diesel engines is phenomenal. No problems, always start, (glow plugs) and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I bought new a F915 over 30years ago and still use it today to mow my lawn. It's a 3 cylinder yanmar liquid cooled diesel 17 HP. I'm replacing the glow pug module and glow plugs. I'm just letting a lubricant penetrate the threads on the glow plugs. I will replace them in a couple of days I didn't want to take the chance to break them off because they are the original glow plugs.

Mine is a F930 gas power just has break peddle not peddles on both sides trying to get mine running pto keeps kicking out and today just runs for a minute then shuts off. Good luck with your John Deere man!

Hello good video i have the same mower the 4 quarts you added to the small reservoir was what type of oil regular motor oil?

It was hydraulic oil. That reservoir is directly connected to the transmission/hydraulic system. Thanks for watching!

Just a hint, get a stand for the camera to much jumping around for the viewer, makes one dizzy. Or do not move so fast from one view to the other. Just saying.

Can you show how to remove the injection pump ? I have one just like your but it is diesel. Thanks

Unfortunately I can't because I sold that machine but......removing those pumps is super easy. Pull off all the injection lines, fuel hoses and throttle cables and then remove the 4 bolts on the top of the pump and it should come right out the top. I am not certain but I pulled it out on my Kubota diesel which looks identical as far as the pump goes.

@@marksshop3029 I have removed all the bolts and fuel lines and it is loose but it doesn't slide out. Is there like a sliding pin behind on the pump itself like a control of sorts ? What would be the next step to remove. I appreciate your help

I believe there is a linkage under the throttle plate on the front of the motor. If you remove that cover and unhook the linkage you should be able to slide the pump out. I am not sure but that's how it is on my Kubota. Sorry for the late reply.
