Honest Kitchen Overview

Just a quick review of my new kitchen installment. You will also see the end result :) But the most important question of all: dark or light colours? What would you choose for yours?

Granite countertops should be installed last, so they can measure everything and make sure it is cut accordingly. Not sure which country you live in but in the US if the installers damage your floors or walls you should ask them to pay for the damages they caused during the installation process. Them and the piano people should be using blankets to protect floors.

Your kitchen is very nice, really liking it, along with all the ideas and future plans in order to complete the full picture. It seems solid, greatly functional and aesthetically pleasing, something I would definitely consider if I had the chance. Actually, I have to admit to being a little jealous, for mine is very old, but it’s sturdy and still working and kicking, so projects to upgrade will have to be put on a halt momentarily. Yours is on another level and indeed suggestive. for plant watering you could use some mineral water bottle and make a small hole in it to water plant for two or three weeks

Kitchen looks great! If the workers have any integrity they would protect the floors and walls with tarps, blankets or whatever. It’s a hassle but worth it 👍

Green wall is a smart idea. You can grow your own herbs and spices that way. Even some small cherry tomatoes. If done right with waterfeed, drainage and light its a very low maintenance garden.

I give it a '9', only because when I renovated my house I made the counter top 43 inches, and the island 40 inches from the floor, but I am 6'1" so having everything at my height is good for me. Enjoy your new kitchen.

Good morning, Vladislava. It's minus 30 Celsius on my thermometer this snowy morning. I suggest you try painting one wall your favourite colour and accessorize accordingly.
