Why would that be crazy? Just pop out the 4090 and pop in the 5090 and build updated. It's not like he's gonna need a new mobo or anything else. At most he can update his CPU which is fine because he's on an AM5 board already and those are going to be the standard for a while to come.

I have this exact same case but in black! I love this build. I don’t need a white PC, but I think I want one anyway! Love this build except the GPU barely works as an accent piece. What would have been nice is sending it out for painting, if only just for the shroud/outer part. Maybe even giving the “metal” finish some copper and white accents even white digital camo vinyl would have worked nicely. Other than that it’s 100% really neat!

11:00: It would have been nice to see how you installed the two eight-pin CPU power cables on the MB. I then plug into the MB sockets before installing the MB in case. They are difficult to install after the MB has been installed because the MB heat sinks interfere with the insertion of the power cables. My Montech 95 King Pro makes cable management easy. Just above the PSU is a metal two-bay cage for SSDs. This cage is easy to remove and provides plenty of extra cable space.

The side intake fans can be replaced with the same fans but reversed verion ones. Defenatly swap the GPU with the GIgabyte Aero. I'd add an extra reversed intake fan at the bottom just for looks. Finally, you should check out the Phanteks 5.5 inch IPS 1440p screen which does a good job at looking good inside the case as well as showing all your temps.

My NZXT Motherboard had plastic on it too. I took the plastic off, saw there was a place for the thermal tape. right there, where they didn't put it, where they should have put it, because it's an insulator instead of cooling. I just removed it. Didn't get thermal tape because I don't use that much storage rewrite and deleting. But kind of aggravated because it's literally a spot for the thermal tape.

I hate how much I love this case after building my son a beautiful new pc with it. I wanted it for myself but my heart belongs to a future build with the Thermaltake 300. This NV5 is a clean, easy, almost perfect build I can't recommend enough. This was probably the most satisfying build I've ever done.
@sjewkes16 ай бұрын
You'll have to let us know how stability is long-term since that memory kit is technically XMP and pretty far above the support speeds for AM5. It's a great shame Corsair doesn't make a native EXPO kit in the white, I don't understand why we're still not making identical products for both Intel and AMD across the board. I would also suggest adjusting the angle on that 12VHPWR cable, perhaps in the final build, to ensure the bend isn't too aggressive that close to the connector. Love a white-themed build though.

if you go with cablemod cable kit, it might be cool to lean in a little bit to the black and white motif of the nzxt mobo by going with alternating black and white cable kit. Also, gotta swap the GPU for something white, or at minimum something mostly blacked out. the nvidia FE gunmetal really destroys the theme you have going.

I have a few questions I hope you could answer! 1) did you just need to plug the Lian li fans on the cooler straight into the hub or did it need to do anything different considering it’s on the cpu cooler. 2) did you plug in the cpu cooler is the CPU fan or AIO pump on motherboard because I have the same aio and cpu so I’m curious. 3) how are your temps so low, my cpu idles at 53°-63° then play rocket league at 64° but on apex and cod it shoots up to like 72°-85° then my pc gets quite loud. Sorry for so much but I’ve been stuck not being able to figure anything out
