Thanks for the great content. They don't make them like they used to and it seems like most of the problems with new trucks has to do with the EGR / DEF systems. All the EPA required stuff that is necessary evils. Glad you got a good shop that got you in and out quickly. Very nice 👍 ✌️🇺🇲

Hey Bruce love all the farm content. Hate be another nitpicker... but ya really should run your straps inside the rail of your trailer it will eventually wear off the reflector tape and bend the rails if you crank down to hard. Can't wait to see blue collar all painted up and those fenders we keep hearing about.

Don't know if you know but straps on the outside of the rub rail are illegal. If some jackass comes barreling at ya and side swipes ur trailer ur really gonna be wishing the strap was on the inside of the rub rail. I'm not sayin that to be right or wrong i'm sayin it so you won't be that guy in that position on the side of the road/interstate who lost his load cuz the strap got cut. Love ur videos and stay safe out there driver.

@Bruce Wilson by law you have to run your straps through the rub rail. If by any chance you get side swiped or side swipe someone, your straps can be cut and you can lose your load. Got a ticket for it when I first started runnin flat and figured I could save you a ticket.

I worked in a dealership and we were forever renewing the Differential Pressure Sensors in the DPFs on our diesels. The sensor measures the inlet and outlet pressures of the Diesel Particulate Filter and informs the ECU so it knows when to regenerate. If it fails the DPF doesn't know where it stands so it throws out a warning message.

It's honestly not a surprise Bruce, New Trucks / Buses typically go through a break in period where all the bugs need to be worked out. It doesn't change no matter the company. I don't drive truck, I drive School Bus, Thomas bus ( Freightliner ) I got a 22 bus this year, been in the shop more often then my 2018 bus I was driving cause all the stuff that needed to be worked out on it.
@petermcbilt594
@petermcbilt594 2 жыл бұрын
It’s not bugs that need to be worked out it’s the emission system and it will never stop needing to be worked out. You will never stop replacing sensors as long as you own the vehicle. My 2015 Peterbilt has been in the shop more times than I can count and I honestly can’t remember if there was ever a time it wasn’t related to the Government mandated emissions system. I get horrible fuel mileage more downtime and you’ll never get 1,000,000 miles out of these motors like you used to. My 97 Peterbilt with a N 14 Cummins was 10 times more reliable and more fuel efficient. Just imagine how efficient and reliable diesel engines would be today if the government would stay the hell out of our lives. OK I got that off my chest. I’m done venting 😊
