Shader is a guy I constantly see popping in other streamers' game but I never had the curiosity to check out his stuff. His opinion on the scoreboard is so spot on I had to subscribe. lol Looking cleaner doesn't make it cleaner. Delivering information takes more than just numbers. They can also use figures. You can't gather info from that scoreboard just by quickly glancing at it mid game.

There shouldn't be any scoreboard at all, this way we'd have no choice but to look at what happens in the game, without being lied to by out of context data. One example : in OW1, you don't have access to any stat from the enemy. Yet I bet you can still tell who's the best player on their team, and it's not close.

Hey Shadder, great video as always - Just wanted to let you know that that Genji didn't kill you with a melee but rather hit a shuriken on your head and melee cancelled the animation. So yeah, melee can't go through deflect :)

I was ranked Silver 3. As a healer with an average of 15k heal and skill deployment over 75% with Moira. In OW 1 I was always 2900-3000SR. The Ranked System is Broken af.

He knows it's bullshit and is just joking around, but for anyone else who doesn't have his understanding of the game yet : Know that your value is not relative to total damage dealt (no matter the role). Not all damage is equally useful, some can even not be welcome as it lowers your chances of winning (it feeds enemy healers). WHEN the damage was done and to whom is much more important, and is not reflected in the stats. Sometimes you can even bring value by doing almost no damage : baiting cooldowns, having enemies follow you around while your team uses the new weakness to push, deflecting in front of your cass' High noon, ping on the reaper above waiting to ult, thus saving your entire team, etc. Don't be fooled by the scoreboard, the game is as complex as chess and just because Blizzard displays something doesn't mean it's as simple as that or even relevant at all.

The fact that they added a battle pass and you can't grind for skins anymore and have premium currency etc just blows me away from this game. It was a nice 4 years with it but I won't play a cheap copy of the game i used to love. Just my thoughts about it. Also, I hope that in 2 years this game will change like Star Wars Batllefront 2, That blizzard will hear the community. I know it's F2P now and they have to earn money somehow, but I would not be mad and some of you too if they would make this game like 50$ one time payment and then just some lootboxes that are a bit harder to get but still you can grind for it or something and you can get everything for money if you can but its just optional and some premium skins for supporting ur fav E-Sport team or other events like this with mercy skin when you paid to the breast cancer thing, man that was wholesome, amazing and a great thing to do.
