When I had shell dwellers, the Amazon snails AND the Tanganyika shells were readily available. The Tanganyika shells were very expensive and put about a handful in with the others. But they ignored the authentic shells and prefered the Amazon snail shells. I had brevis I think. Love their behavior just like you. And excitement always brought out the colors.

Sand City Cichlid..Glad to hear they are still in business... My first order experience was Great! Shellies/ Multies. Then I placed 2 additional orders a month ago. No response to emails! I thought they must have closed down. Hopefully I will hear from them soon.

he took his site down, so im not sure if theyre open. Sad, The fish i got from him were nice. Just the customer experience was and is still a nightmare. I hope to see my order soon, and i hope Sand city cleans up and comes back new and improved complete with communication

I love the markings on these guys! I got my multis from Sand City. I ordered seven a few months ago and now I have over 50 babies in my tank. Best reason to get a bigger setup! 😁

They look amazing!! I love all types of cichlids, haven't kept shell dwellers yet though. I think this video is going to make me pull the trigger on them. I ordered fish for the first time this week and I understand the feeling of getting new fish. Especially opening the door and seeing a box that says "live fish"

It's always awesome when you're able to get rare fish that very few other people have. Even though I'm a die hard micro and nano fish person I've always liked shell dwellers and watching them in other people's tanks. 👍❤👍

Hey great find. I've not seen these before. But I think they look fantastic. Their markings are very cool. And they do have some color. Really cool! I saw one of your older videos promoting these guys and so I decided to check them out since I'm getting into shell dwellers. Really impressed with the selection to be honest. I live in the Seattle area so most of my brick and mortar shops including Aquarium Co-Op don't really get these fish in aside from Multis and Brichardi. Gonna try to start breeding Gold Ocellatus soon now that I've revamped my 20 gallon with crushed coral and other buffers.

Update, I ordered from them the last friday of May, and since then the website has been down? Nobody has been in contact with me even after reaching out to every form of contact they have publically available. Email, facebook, instagram, the works. Getting worried something's happened. I know you and others have praised this place, and I know this isn't technically your problem. I just wanted to know since you're usually in contact with them if you knew anything about this.

These look extremely similar to my Lepidiolamrpolgus Heckii, Having owned multies already when I got them I thought little of it but these are much much more aggressive fish than multies so be ready for that, but they do breed readily the same as multies. Oh this is a year ago...LOL well now I must go see if there are updates.
