Eisenhauer’s Chesapeake Harley Davidson in Maryland, I visited the dealership which had the same bike (2018). I sat on the bike and subscribed to your channel same day. God is telling me to buy this bike? Well, I like to think he is!!!!

This is a fantastic motorcycle, it was love at first sight for me. I was a little apprehensive because it is at least 200 pounds heavier than the Vulcan S and approximately 1200 CCs more than the Vulcan S. I thought it may have been too much bike to upgrade to, and it turned to be ideal. Best of luck with your purchase, and stay safe out there!

I have a an 2018 Heritage 107 Iron Rust Denim. (It is the only 107 Iron Rust that I have seen in Indiana) a I agree with your comments about the difference between the engines, but I am satisfied entirely with the motorcycle motorcycle. I think it is easier to handle than my former Kawasaki 900 Lt.. I put a taller windshield from Harley on mine and the buffeting decreased a lot. Thanks for you vlog and I agree that you made a great choice. I have ridden mine on three and for day trips and am not any more fatigued than when I had an HD '15 Ultra Classic Low.
@motorcyclingendeavors27505 жыл бұрын
I was stunned how easy it was to handle this bike. It is at least 200 pounds heavier than the Vulcan S and I did not feel it when I got rolling, it is just a nice ride. I even feel more confident on Heritage than I did the Vulcan S. The Iron Red Denim is a beautiful color, if HD of Indy had one I would have chosen that color. Thanks for the comment and stay safe out there!

You did the same as me, I was hell bent on getting a Road King. I went to the dealership (with my wife even LOL) and I always really like Heritage's though. I was able to ride them back to back and I was sold on the Heritage and bought it on the spot. It handles very well and loses 250 pounds as soon as it rolls Congratulations and enjoy the bike, I love mine and ride it almost daily

Bought the same bike (114 in black) in April this year.. more than happy with it! My road trips are so much better than my previous bike. New subscriber as well. PS.. look into Freedom windshields; I bought a larger shield from them with a recurve and it’s muuuuch better. It utilizes the original bracket.

I own a heritage, but man I wish they had left the heritage alone in terms of styling! I think the heritage by concept, should be all chromed out and shiny! Just my .02

Thank you for the comment, and I can appreciate your feelings regarding the styling. Gorgeous motorcycle. I have the 2019. I could not be happier with it. I was actually looking at an Electra Glide, but since I’m a returning rider after 30 years, a buddy suggested a slightly lighter bike. I went in to my friendly and local Harley Davidson dealership and, to borrow your words, there it was. I did the deal and I’m in love with this bike. I never rode the 107, but the 114 is absolutely amazing. As for your windscreen, are you taller? I’m 6-1 and have zero buffeting. Maybe Harley fixed the issue. Your review is the only one I’ve heard that complained about buffeting.
@motorcyclingendeavors27502 жыл бұрын
Others have mentioned the same thing they are not experiencing buffeting, for me I needed the fork wind deflectors for it to go away. It is a fantastic motorcycle. Thanks for the comment and stay safe out there!

Thank you for the comment! This is my first Harley as well so my frame of reference on owning others is zero, but I think they knocked it out of the park with this motorcycle. I have been following your channel wondering what motorcycle you will end up with, lol. I have been procrastinating about doing an ownership review now that I have had the bike for a while, a topic for this spring. MrDarcy & the Ol'Man has a video about the 107 and 114, that is where I learned about it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZvFdZuGYrF1bLM I have to agree, the 114 is smoother. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there!!

GA your review way back if the c 50 T is one of the reasons I bought it..but i just traded it in for the 107 with more torque in the low end-see Matt Laidlaws vids on it and HD's curves-you can always upgrade the 107 to a 114l( see laidlaw's vids featuring Jamie's 2018 107 ) That said HD is not going to make it in 107 anymore anyway...
@GARamblinMan4 жыл бұрын
JJ I’m about ready to trade mine in for a Heritage Classic 107 or 114. Haven’t decided which yet. I want the 114 but like the clear windshield and chrome on the 107. Haven’t completely ruled out a Road King either. Stay tuned and thanks for watching. Enjoy your new HD!

Tell me...how's the heat from that back cylinder? I'm seriously considering to trade in my Triumph Rocket III Touring for the Heritage. My only concern is that I would look to big on this bike. I am 6'2 long.
@motorcyclingendeavors27505 жыл бұрын
Compared to the Vulcan S I had, the engine does run hotter, but I have not had any issues when out on a ride. Can't comment regarding how one would look the bike, my only concern when I purchased is how I would feel on the bike. Does it feel too bulky, too top heavy, how are the ergonomics..... Best of luck on your decision and whatever you decide you are on 2 wheels, and that is what matters. Encourage others to ride and stay safe out there!

5'10. The wind off the top of the wind screen combined with the wind coming up from around the tank created some terrible buffeting/turbulence. I wear a full face helmet and it was like my head was in a paint mixer. I have since purchased a pair of fork wind deflectors which controlled the wind coming from up around the tank, and now I ride without the extension.
