Thanks for posting this. I'm 26 and idk why I felt I was too old to go back to school. I think it's because of how young a lot of these people are in the field and felt they got a head start or in starting too late. Think I'll go back too. Congrats man that's super exciting! Did you find it hard to move from a smaller tech market (Ohio) to a larger one like NYC area? Curious because I also am in a smaller market (NC) and would like to eventually go either NYC or London. I work in tech but not in a developer role so I am also navigating that transition. Might be a good video idea once you've moved/worked in NYC area to talk about some of the differences and similarities from a smaller market compared to a larger "hub" like NYC (It's not silicon valley but I would definitely say its top 5 in the US)

The youtube brand we want. So i just watched mkbhd on auto focus and like so inspired. Like is most of are issues going to be sold as a tech product probably and yet mkbhd makes it look so effortless. So yeah the weird elephant in the room is at what point consumerism is a divide and i dont know where to start because every industry will say they have a diversity initiative and yet not even talk about well its geopolitics and we all working so that two people own everything. I do think its weird that why dont people challenge chinese interpedence on data and technology. Like do we really all want to east chinese food. In any case, like books are a way to see the depth of how issues are talked about. Like chris miller on chip war, jake bittle in the great displacement with climate change, dr. Dorothy e roberts on science health gaps and heather mcghee on economic gaps. But so cool to watch your videos in the morning. A cool way to get the day started.

That’s a great question there is a lot of math so I’d say it’s 50/50 because a comp sci degree is meant to help you become a better computer scientist/engineer so there is heavy mathematics and engineering courses you’ll have to take (if your program is through an engineering department).
