You want to ensure you’re hitting the prostate. Make sure you get a half chub walking around with it’- if not. It might be time to size up to get better pressure where you need it. Go slow and don’t hurt yourself

​@@mattvena226Im 6ft and I weigh 174lbs my best squat is 350lbs high bar no equipment, I stopped getting stronger doing top sets and now I'm doing 5x5 with knee sleeves but with low bar and do you think i should be able to get to a 405 squat like that?

Can you use the same template for deadlift? And if yes what variation would be suitable for 2nd day cause i feel like tempo deadlift isn't really a thing

Tempo deadlifts are usually performed through counting on the descent. I'd do a 6 count

78% for 2 reps seems super light? My max is probably around 500 and doing 390 just seems silly. Maybe the percentages should be increased for people who don't squat 700+?

Matt is all about a lot of practice at very submaximal work and a lot of his clients have heavily benefited from it. I am also pretty sure that is week 1, which is supposed t be easy to people can get used to the workload and frequency; every week after either the weight or reps will go up. Just try the whole program before critiquing it. Matt’s an elite squatter and successful coach; I’m sure he knows what he is doing.
