You want to ensure you’re hitting the prostate. Make sure you get a half chub walking around with it’- if not. It might be time to size up to get better pressure where you need it. Go slow and don’t hurt yourself

Tempo deadlifts are usually performed through counting on the descent. I'd do a 6 count

78% for 2 reps seems super light? My max is probably around 500 and doing 390 just seems silly. Maybe the percentages should be increased for people who don't squat 700+?

Matt is all about a lot of practice at very submaximal work and a lot of his clients have heavily benefited from it. I am also pretty sure that is week 1, which is supposed t be easy to people can get used to the workload and frequency; every week after either the weight or reps will go up. Just try the whole program before critiquing it. Matt’s an elite squatter and successful coach; I’m sure he knows what he is doing.
