Blackie you can use the shock cord on the tie outs for your guide lines. What I am saying is tie your guys to the shock cord to give it some stretch so it doesn't stress the tarp in the wind. I saw this trick on Shugs channel. I tried it and it really helps take the stress off the tarp in wind and also doesn't pull out your stakes.

Silnylon stretches. The shock cord also helps take up the slack as the nylon stretches and keeps the tarp from sagging.

Nice tarp. One trick you can do to protect you and your tarp from falling sticks somewhat, is to deploy another ridgeline above your tarp. Just something to break their fall.

The more gear Onewind produces the more impressed I am! Definitely be adding that tarp to my pack!

Outstanding! A properly rigged & outfitted tarp for the hammock camper. I'll need to track one of those down for a look-see. That's a pretty critical piece of kit & that one looks like it's done right. That's for the info !

Nice Rig Blackie. I’m sure you will enjoy that setup. I like my tarp in a Porch setup, back side of tarp down and the entrance side of the hammock up with the doors staked out at about 45*. Gives a great view and still protected from the weather.

1000 lb hammock...I am in!! I am nowhere close to that but I never trust them. Nice tarp...I think I will get one for my wife to use for shade next to her garden in the summer.

The tarp is designed to run the ridge line on top through that center tie out. I know that’s not what you’re used to, but it’s common to do it that way in the hammock community.

I like the way the end walls taper in at the bottom to help shed rain.

I like that tarp, thanks for showing it. Not sure about those”doors” though. Interesting concept. I REALLY wish I could get comfy in a hammock. I always end up shaped like a banana with my feet up over my head. Great for a nap, but for overnight I am a side sleeper. I don’t remain in the “sleep diagonal” long enough to keep the thing taut and flat.

What size is it overall? I recently found your channel Blackie,, I can't find where to buy your knife, and I think this video is last year's maybe, so is there a different model you suggest that is better for my first real tarp? Ive bought the cheap dollar store tarps like everyone else has, But at 61 & disabled/homeless, I think I'd better save my pennies & start purchasing items that will probably outlast me,, lol. Thank you Blackie , Please keep the videos coming, Stay Healthy Stay Safe Stay Positive Stay Happy. Peace from Big Jim Boston Strong.. Cow Hampshire,, lol ( New Hampshire,, USA)

I am impressed with what I saw here. It is definitely apparent that whoever designed this knows about hammock setups and has designed this well. I look forward to seeing more. BTW: is the olive color available now?
