melzer 13 That’s what they are getting at in the original post. That’s the literal joke. People who watch j-vlogs on the regular know that ovens aren’t the norm in most Asian countries. Hence the reference to other people who don’t watch j-vlogs not seeing a built-in oven as unusual. Hope that helped.

Love the setup! You’ve both taken care of your areas very beautifully. I’d be interested in seeing more on your appliances. Japan does smaller appliances best and I’d like to see more of the inside and what works and what doesn’t (e.g. The washer and drier all in one - how well does it dry? does it vent outdoors?). I own my own 1920s home but the living space is relatively small- 880 sq ft - and I wish we had more and better choices for appliances that used the space more effectively than what is available in NA. I am surprised that more Murphy bed setups aren’t used over there and you may want to consider adding high cabinets for storage as your ceilings seem quite high. I don’t know if you are allowed to anchor them into the concrete but - if not - those Swedes usually have some interesting stuff ... (IKEA). Take care and stay safe. I am Looking forward to the man/cave room setup video on the other channel. Btw what video editing software do you use on your Mac?

Don't sell yourself short your place looks amazing!and downsizing is going to be the way of the future so consider yourself ahead of the curve. I love the way that you've cleaned everything up and you've given me some ideas to help me with my space, so thank you!

From a fellow Fil-Am in CA, I love your channel! One suggestion: A day in the life of a bridge construction worker or bridge maintenance worker. I hope you don’t have a fear of heights. 😆 Lastly, Maiko is maganda. 👍
