Hey, how did the headlight work out in this configuration? Does the stator/rectifier pump out enough watts to keep the battery charged when using the headlight for sustained periods? Appreciate the info!

in Canada you also need flashers speedometer, a horn and mirrors.

What is the difference between EC and EX?

The EC comes stock with a Headlight and Tail light, and has a Wide Ratio transmission, and the suspension is a little softer for tight technical trails, where as the EX has a Semi-Close Ratio transmission; the transmissions are the same other than 1st-3rd gears. The EC has a lower shorter first gear and second and third is quite a bit longer; then the 4th-6th gears are all the same. The EX has a little stiffer suspension and is more geared towards higher speed single track and desert riding with a more reactive fork. The EC uses the WP Explorer spring style fork and the EX uses the Xact air fork by WP. both share the Xact rear shock by WP. Hopefully that answers your question. @@McNewMotoTech thats what i needed to know thank you. I am teaching my 3 kids to ride. All of them at different levels. I am looking for a bike that can rip but also can go slow all day in 100 degree weather.
