Love your tractor and your land. I’ve been running tractors for 50 years and I’m still learning.

Heck yeah. I got the SA 425 in March with the loader bucket, pallet forks, snow plow and the backhoe attachment. Love it. Just did my first round of fluid maintenance and everything.

Really enjoyed your video. You got a great setup there with those attachments. Although you'll always find a few more that you " need", it looks like you can get got the most important ones already. I just subscribed and waiting to see more videos of the whole family learning and getting more comfortable with the tractor.

What a fun video! Thanks for showing your first experiences on it. I rented a tractor for the first time a few weeks ago and my wife (who grew up on a farm) couldn’t stop laughing at me while i was figuring things out.

I went with yanmar for all the same reasons as you. 10 year warranty, yanmar makes great engines. Really any japanese made engines are great. John deere uses yanmar engines a lot so for a popular brand like john deere to use yanmar, says a lot about yanmar, tym and bad boy also use yanmar engines. I went with the sa325, realistically same exact machine just smaller rears. I do sometimes wish i went with the 425 just for the ground clearance but overall i am happy with the 325. When i made my purchase a few months ago it took me months of research and looking around to make sure i made the right choice. With yanmar you get more lift cap for less money, same class tractor in john deere has lift of about 800 and kubota is about 650. I was sold on the yanmar because of the 10 year drive train warranty, reputation of machine itself, and nearby dealerships, very comfortable ride, and the hydro transmission. I have just under 50 hours right now, and i love the machine overall. I was stuck between tym 2515 or t25 and yanmar sa325, sometimes i feel like the tym would have been better, slightly more lift cap, and ss quick attach front end makes it so you can buy front end attachments almost anywhere, where with yanmar your stuck buying only from yanmar or W.R Long. (Atleast those are the only 2 i know of so far) i actually just ordered a grapple through W.R Long today and thats how i found your video. Was going to buy the yanmar grapple, but the replaceable teeth got me on the WR, and i heard the WR 3rd function is a bit quicker than yanmars. Hope everything works out for you! My 325 is my first tractor, i got some land im clearing too, and even though i love my tractor, I have a long term plan of trading in a few years for a YT3 model. Not for awhile but got to give yourself goals 😅 Also thought about a heated cab for my 325. (Im in new england and will be working all winter on my tractor) but could not justify 5k for some glass, door, and heat. Its a cool cab if you wanted to look into it, curtis makes them , just too expensive for me. Have fun with your new tractor!

Congrats - That's a really good set-up. You're going to be using that box blade a lot. Another good attachment is the piranha tooth bar from bxpanded. I have the 424 and love it, but the parking brake handle is a problem. We have 5 acres down in Fallbrook and I've been using the 424 to clear old olive trees... All the best - Steve

I had the 2018 same tractor. it was 100% problem free. you want rim guard in the rear tires. also a steel cutting edge on bucket and last is a hydraulic top link. $2oo - $250 each for cutting edge and top link. (Holland spare parts) Rick central NY

Make sure you have wheel weights or Ballest in the tires if you lift with the loader and something doesn't lift up it can lift the rear wheel which means you can tip over easy with that high ground height. Go slow with the loader at the start so you can reverse a mistake so don't panic and wear the seat belt. I've almost tipped 3 times so fat and mine is lower to the ground and I added weight. You also curel the bucket when stuck in the mud

With the amount of rocks you have, you may have to lock in the differential lock and 4 wheel drive. Good luck fellow Yanny!

Do yourself a huge favor and get a hydraulic top link for your three point hitch, you have the hydraulic links already and it makes it much easier to hitch up to and use rear implements. You don't need to use the wire clip on the parking brake, just push the brake and lift the t handle then take your foot off the brake and it will hold. The wire is a back up.

You won't be disappointed I had the 324 but upgraded to the yt235c with backhoe and I would not buy anything else. Be sure to add the rear ballast in the tires safety first For the front iused about 40lbs of barbell weights that I already had....bolt on a piece of half inch all thread put you weights on and then big washer and nut your good to go Also everything attachments has good how to videos on KZbin
