You could use a bowl to set most of the disco ball into to stabilize it so you can put the pieces onto it, then carefully flip the disco ball so the finished top is (partially) in the bowl and finish the bottom.

Love it what a unique idea! Be fun to do with kids not to young maybe preteens or teens it would be beautiful to add some LED lites in between the rows of candy! And i wonder instead of having to replace the ball maybe glue some foil around it so the shine of the foil will pop

Do you think if you ran a small bead of glue in a short line on the ball then put the candy on, make another line and ad candy? It would eliminate picking up the gun and then candy so many times. Just a thought for maybe next time😂🤣🥰 it looks cool though

My suggestion is put a strip of glue long enough for 3 or 4 pieces & go up or down as needed. You might also get just a small ball sometime beforehand & practice with it to see how long of a strip would work. This one is really pretty. When it was spinning it was really shiney & sparkly.

Heather, what you need is a bowl that will hold the ball at about half way down. Then when the top half is filled, you turn it upside down. Just be sure the bowl is big enough for the candies that have already been added. Also in order to stabilize the ball so it doesn’t wobble, get some wooden (the ones that are used for Shish ka Bob). Put them in the ball @ 12, 3, 6 & 9 o’clock around the middle of the ball. You may need to add a few more, depending on the weight of the ball. Then set it in the bowl. It helps a lot to steady it. Last year I made decorated Christmas balls that can be hanging from the ceiling or wherever you’d like some festive decorations, and I learned a lot about working with a ball. I can’t wait to see the finished product.
