Thanks for explaining those changes you're making, Jess. I think some of my thoughts were along the same lines but you explained it better than my little brain did. Looking at the training as just happening to have a race at the end should take that big pressure off race day.

I think it'll be a huge change. There's just no use in loading tons of pressure onto one race. At the end of the day it is just a race. If it doesn't play out well, I move onto the next one!

Nothing will go wrong on race day! Just enjoy the lead up and overall enjoy it while you do the race. ENJOY!

Unfortunately, past experience suggests otherwise 🤣 But yes, revelling in the whole process is the goal.

The Haworth Hobble looks great.. I signed up for 10 Res's after watching your videos but sprained my ankle a few weeks ago thanks to a broken stile 👎... Hope your training goes well and looking forward to seeing your progress 🙂

Oof, hope the recovery on the ankle is speedy!

You can't control everything but all the preparations you do must surely help on the day. I can't get my head around the distances you talk about. I don't run much so that's part of it and my max trekking distance is around the 20 miles. Thank you again for your vlog here and I will be following along with your updates. Cheers, Warren :)

Thanks Warren! Yes the distances do often sound a bit daft, I enjoy the mental challenge of going that far, I think that's the main draw for me.
