SHE DID SAY SHE HAS TALKED TO THEM BEFORE. 😅 that means they dont give a fuck and still leave the kids with her. I think 🤔 she was justified 😂. And her husband over here just drinking away. Nah nah nah fuck all that 😅

I feel like you guys didn’t pay attention to the fact that her husband said she should’ve spoken to them for the 50th time which means she’s talked to them countless times so she needed to inconvenience them so she could rest and clearly finds getting high as enjoyable

On how the manager approached you about being "angry" its good to speak. Tell him you have quite a bit of peace but his approach about how he thinks you feel is very uneasy. Tell him it more peaceable to not impute wrong emotions on others.

Girls! This episode was very relatable as the only black women at the workplace. There is sooo many passive aggressive comment and double standards throwned at me on the daily basis and then they wonder why I don’t open up. Lol

I can only speak from my experience of growing up in a Ghanaian 🇬🇭 household and I believe we r very similar to Nigerian 🇳🇬 families as everything u say is literally the same for me .. lucky I never learned anything from my dad and my mother wasn’t your ordinary obedient servant type mother 😂 my mother is very straight forward and fire 🔥 😂😂😂 so I learned very quickly to talk back and not just be scared to speak however it didn’t come straight away as I did experience a lot of the issues Sharon talked about out in a working relationship environment.. but it got to a point where I said fuck it 😂😂😂😂 and I’ve never been the same since

I feel like this convo is in the collective consciousness, because it’s been on my mind heavy! So many layers when you’re Black in the workplace- even working in Healthcare (where we’re taught to be mindful of different backgrounds and be non biased. Caribbean & African Parents have similar morals/child rearing practices too- which has some great qualities/effects, as well as some very stifling/restrictive ones.

For the Americans watching, can you guys please explain what is A level or GSE?
@anusowunmi7764 Жыл бұрын
A levels - are subject-based qualifications that can lead to university, further study, training, or work. You can normally study three or more A levels over two years. GSCE - academic qualification in a range of particular subjects, taken in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland

If adult children want their parents to devote a decent amount of their free time to being a grandparent, then the children need to plan better. If you are 25 and your parents are in their 50s, they probably are not going to have that much time to give away to their grandchildren. Most of the grandparents who are able to donate time to their grandchildren are 65+ or grandmother is possibly a stay-at-home mom.

lol women always pick a certain point in a story to focus on and forget the rest. They missed it when she said I wasn’t going to speak on after doing so for so many times.
