Hi kim, my name is Karen, and I live on the Essex/Suffolk Boarders. I love watching your channel your doing really well. I'm sixty-one, so there's not much difference in our ages. I watch a lot of other ladies who you also watch and support. I know how you must have been feeling today with the low mood. I also have had a horrible day but for no particular reason, i just felt very sad. I didn't know what to do with myself, so like yourself, I just kept busy clearing my clothes out, had a nice bath, and painted my fingernails and toenails. I, too, am trying to find my style as when you age, your style changes, and sometimes it's difficult to get it right. I'm sure kim that in the morning we will wake up feeling a bit brighter, I don't think the topsy-turvy weather is helping. Keep your chin up, kim. Lots of love, karen. ❤️

Hi Karen, thank you for watching & your lovely words. I think we are at a time in our lives when we want to enjoy everyday, feel good in ourselves, clothes etc & it feels an effort. I find making the effort though does pay off but occasionally we get the odd time where we do feel sad. I wish I could afford to retire but sadly not yet. I'm glad you understand how I feel too, we aren't on our own. I do feel like older the Ladies on KZbin are so inspiring & keep us going 🩷xx

If it makes you feel any better, I have sat in my pj's all day today because I just couldn't face the same old routine of doing my hair and getting dressed with nowhere to go. I'm trying to eat healthy too, and that doesn't help when food choices are limited or you're good all week and haven't lost a pound. It's going to be a nice sunny day tomorrow, kim. @@Karen-fr7juKaren, tomorrow is a new day, one day at a time. Get dressed, do your hair & a bit of makeup & it makes a difference. Do what makes you happy. I try not to weigh myself too often. I try & do something to be more active in short bursts. Again this is where KZbin comes up trumps. We can do this 🩷xx

Helli Kim,,my night routine is face cleanser, tham ponds..after spending a few hours with my children ,grandchildren and great grandbabies.When they leave I feel a little down so I do something around my apartment and after awile I start to feel ok again..

Hi Kim, I hope you’re feeling a little better now. I have anxiety and depression and I can easily slip into the doldrums if I’m not careful, so I try keeping busy too. I have a similar makeup removing cloth to you. They are fab! I use a cleanser from e.l.f and then use castor oil as my night time moisturiser (it’s like natures Botox) 😂 xx

Hi Ally, it's amazing to hear how many people suffer with depression & anxiety, it's horrible isn't it? It strikes when you least expect it. I'm glad I spoke up as I'm not alone in feeling the way I do at times. The cloths are so good, you can't believe how well they take your make up off. The castor oil is just a touch messy isn't it?xx

Hi Kim I use Lidl Cleanser with a rough texture pad and very recently I have started using Castor oil as a “night cream”…U Di have reasonable skin but it does feel softer …I’m 59 this month 🙂

Hi Kim. I really enjoyed watching your video as always and sorry to hear you were feeling a bit down and like you when I’m feeling down I put on you tube videos and get inspiration from them and usually do a clear out or even just housework. I was going to ask why you cleanse with the cloth then twice with the cleanser it seems a lot 😂. I have a cloth similar to yours and use that to take mine off then I cleanse once and to me that’s a double cleanse many I’m doing it wrong? I love Liz Earle too and Elemis but they are so expensive and only buy if QVC have a deal on them. I find TK max a good place for picking up beauty things. I suppose it's habit & I do it without thinking 🤦🏼‍♀️. I have had lots of skincare sets off QVC, they are so expensive aren't they now? I can't justify it, on easy pay you feel like it drags out forever too. I agree, fed up days need to be doing something inspirational or productive xx
