You can’t expect to put illegal burden on a tow company and also expect them to pay for these types of damages. Hi Erick. I’m terribly sorry to see this has happened to you. Those race ramps he used are a two piece set, and he more than likely lost the rest of them using the wood instead. It was clear he was an inexperienced operator. If you went through BMW roadside assistance - They contract through Agero and 99% chance your tow went through Agero. Create a claim through Agero and submit your documentation and you’ll win.

Yeah especially in LA you’d think tow trucks would be used to lowered cars. Usually just a few clips are holding the front bumper on. Plus all insurances don’t pay for aftermarket stuff usually which sucks

The pilot sports are a really soft tire. Amazing wet traction for a street/performance tire. Try some conti DWS extremes tiny bit cheaper than Michelins and unless you track it you won’t notice the differences.

Go to home depot and buy yourself a cordless tire pump with a battery. Tires are the only thing between you and the road so you gotta make sure they're within good range of psi before driving. They also lose about 1 psi for every 10 degree drop in Fahrenheit. LA is cold rn and it affected your tire psi for sure. All love and goodluck my man

its a tough scenario because the car is lowered but they sent the best option which was a flatbed and honestly half the time the tow truck drivers don't have that much wood. You can tell that the tow truck driver did everything but got impatient at the end of the day. If that new BMW doesn't come with a spare then that's a shame

I have a good tip for you. How about instead of buying a brand new, expensive car, you just get an older model where tuning is very well supported, and build a beast for half the cost? As well as have a much easier car to work on and diagnose. Go take an older gen BMW M3 or an Audi RS3 and make it at least 800hp. Preferably the AWD variants.

You could have left the car there, jack up the rear, take the wheel off and quickly go change the tire at a tireshop if they had it in stock. Then go put it back on. Thats what I always do, I never trust Tow Companys or The Dealership on lowered cars.

Buy a car jack an some stands, 99.9% of cars come with one but for a lowered car you’ll need a low profile one. An most come with a tire iron. Next time just take it off an in a separate car take the blown wheel to any shop. Once you got the new one just slap the hog back on, bonus most shops won’t argue abt needing 2 if they don’t see the other one/whole car

Ouch! Avoid tow trucks at all costs with any low car and even motorcycles. (Especially with a lip or diffusers). With experience you’ll plan better. Keep a scissor jack and buy a cheap spare if not equipped with one for both cars brother. Then drive to the stealership. Orrr, you might want to lift her to a two finger gap. Also, you gotta know their policy for towing lowered cars and let them now prior. That’s really not in your favor in these situations where you need help. They can lie to you…etc. The car went up fine with care… the guy dropping it should be drop kicked. He seemed different…they could have taken off the damn bumpers too if it was at the fn dealer dude. Thats how those slammed cars make it up on the truck. That creates clearance. Hope this gives you some ammo… Take these simple repairs into your own hands next time or take it as a lesson learned. These things happen constantly when you drive sports cars. 😉

Almost every M3/M4 owner knows that if you change anything from stock or the way the car came from the factory you can say goodbye to any warranties or assistance from BMW. When you called BMW roadside assistance you were leaving yourself in a no win situation. Of course BMW are going to send a flatbed that is not equipped to handle lowered cars... You should have called a specialty tow service that is accustomed to handling lowered cars. I'm sorry for your car but I'd side with BMW on this one too. Even though your video shows the tow company causing the damage, you altered the ride height. Either drive stock height or find a specialty tow service in your area and store there contact info in your phone.
