Chris you have now truly won me over 100% due to your interest in the most incredibly wonderful yet underrated and unknown game I've ever played: JET FORCE GEMINI. I've never seen someone with EQUAL enthusiasm for this game and I've spent around 80 difficult hours of play time throughout my childhood on this game and have the soundtrack on my ipod. A truly rewarding game unlike any other. Subscribed.

When I was a kid, I was more hyped for N64 (then known as ULTRA 64: ) Than I had been for anything ever.! I had to have my dad buy every magazine featuring any info leading up to release, and I mowed laws and washed cars like a monster in order to save up enough to get it day one. I even had a calendar that I drew up, featuring Mario of course, that counted down the days.. I was not disappointed : )

Several things; 1: I believe that the N64 is the greatest video game console ever made, 2: I'm glad you mentioned the games you did, there were several I had never heard of such as Gemini, that look very fun and seem to have aged well, 3: I don't know how you didn't mention Pokemon Stadium 1&2, or even Puzzle League, 4: I want to give a special mention to the Disney/Pixar games, they were the best on this console, 5: Chris, your collection makes me happy, I'm glad these games still have players.

That's a kickass collection! I wished I took care like you did of all your games. Because I use to have a cool collection of psone, snes and Nintendo 64 games. But we moved out a lot when I was a kid and sometimes there wasn't enough room for all of these, and my parents always thought video games was a waste of time and space. Thank you for that ride on the nostalgia tour, Chris. Really appreciate the video.

Considering I was a huge TV junkie as a kid and my parents' first kid, I wasn't allowed to own a video game counsel until I was seen old enough (11 years old when the Wii was still new). Was bummed about it at first, but the more I look back on it I actually made a lot of good memories that way. Pushed me to spend more time playing outside for starters. But it also made me cherish the times I did get to play video games, whether it'd be playing the Game Cube at a friend's house, some classic games at the occasional hair cut shop at the mall, and best of all at a stay-at-home daycare with the Nintendo 64. Had my earliest video game memories there, from Mario Kart, the early Mario Parties, Diddy Kong Racing, GoldenEye, Rampage, that Tony Hawk game, that Jet skiing game, that snowboarding game, Pokemon Snap, and occasionally Super Smash Brothers that one visiting kid would bring very now and then. There was even a giant Ms Pacman game table. My earliest and favorite video game memories.

Man, you brought so much nostalgia for me Chris... I played a lot of these games on the Nintendo 64 growing up. My favorite though would have to be Banjo Tooie. My brother bought Banjo Kazooie, and it was such a great gaming experience for me when I was younger. When Banjo Tooie was released, I had to be the one to own that game! So I bought it with the money I had been saving up, and did not have a single regret. Great video Chris!!

The first games I ever had were Super Mario All-Stars (actually 4 games remade in one on the SNES), Super Mario World and Super Metroid, that I had at the age of 5 with, of course, the SNES as my first console. These three games are the best among the approximatly 20 SNES games I had during my childhood, in addition to Star Fox which I had later. I then had my nintendo 64 when I was about to be 11 with Star Fox 64, the best game I ever played on that console and one of my favourite, and Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire. Some nintendo 64 games such as Mario Party's franchise and Super Mario 64 followed, but I had my Gamecube just 1 year later. That sums up my childhood concerning video games.

One of the greatest moments of my life, I was loathing the idea of going to school, pretended I was sick while pleading with my mother to forgive this one transgression, that of skipping a day of school. I will never ever forget, she of course gave me the standard issue rundown, but to my relief and surprise, she agreed. The remarkable thing however was, she drove me down to a local game rental place where I got my claws on Tony Hawk Pro Skater, took it home and enjoyed a blissful day of isolation and gaming. One of the best memories of my whole life, until now I dont know what compelled her to reward me on this particular day but I like to think thats what mommas do sometimes.

@@SK8R43 Stunt Racer is harder to find than Sculptors Cut but Sculptors Cut still goes for more money. You could probably bag Super Bowling for $600 - $700 but both Sculptors Cut and Stunt Racer probably exceed the $1,000 mark. Just my two cents. I am, of course, talking about complete in box.
@SK8R436 жыл бұрын
@@paradoxicaljoy4923 I know. I'm talking loose cart. Stunt racer and super bowling are way harder to find than sculptors cut. Stunt racer you can find pretty cheap if you look hard enough. Super bowling will cost you a bit, and sculptors cut will be a bit more. But, thats because its cool and price doesnt reflect its rarity. Check ebay for those 3 games. Sculptors cut has more listings, Hell super bowling only has a few and most of them are in pretty bad condition. I guess ISS 2000 is a bit more rare though since theres even less of that on ebay ATM. haha
@paradoxicaljoy49236 жыл бұрын
@@SK8R43 Yeah ISS 2000 was a bitch to find but I actually have a sealed copy. Stunt Racer really set me back and I still don't have Sculptor's Cut or Super Bowling but I do disagree with you on Stunt Racer being cheap. If you find a copy of that game for a decent price it's probably scuffed up as hell or has a load of sticker damage. I still find it rarer and more expensive than Super Bowling. Beast Wars is another one that's up there too.

I played Ratchet & Clank as a kid, and was totally sucked into it! The imaginative world and the humorous dialogue: just fucking awesome. And so now I am reliving the first one, and will go on to play the rest of them later. After that, I will replay Jak & Daxter. The amazing world and amazing story made that game amazing.

The one game that for some reason is possibly the most nostalgic for me, is X-Men 2: Clone Wars, on Sega Genesis. I have so many memories with it. I remember playing it all the time, not just with my older sister (like I did with most games), but with the whole family. Something about it got my sister, dad, and even grandpa to play it with me. Such an awesome time.
