The Pasta Queen is an entertaining yet insightful view into Italian food, culture, and lifestyle.
Its main mission and goal is to promote the true essence and beauty of Italy all over the world
With over 5 million followers across all social media platforms, Nadia Caterina Munno IS The Pasta Queen.
Born and raised in Rome, of Neapolitan origins, spent most of her childhood learning the craft of mastering the kitchen and traditional Italian values thanks to generations of women that worked in the world of pasta for centuries.
Just like Nonna Caterina, after which Nadia is named who started the first pasta factory in the late 1800s.

I never had guanciale before but now has become a family staple. Once my family tried this recipe we were hooked. Thank you for making it look so simple and inviting.

Hi ! As an Italian I could also give you an answer. Usually “pecorino romano” is used. The most typical dishes for this cheese are Carbonara, Amatriciana, Pasta alla Gricia (this one we see here in the video), but also others. Ciao ! 👋😊

One thing I'm also curious about is how an Italian would make a Makhni pasta; sure it's not traditional but I'm sure your Indian viewers are a little curious as well...

Because tomatoes didn't come to Italy until the 1500s. But the question is who did they come from because of colonialism? That being said and questioned, the best tomatoes and tomato based foods I've ever had were in Italy.

Some, not all, of the technique is correct… But the over emphasis of vowels and the rolling “r” is very annoying… I was hoping to find a few tips to cooking various dishes, not how someone abuses pronunciation!
