Is that a real Spanish helmet? It looks like its English. I'm very curious, did you actually find that?

@@vadenk4433 That helmet I found in a creek near west Kelowna. Turns out it was made by a student of Dan Hurd’s “medieval armouring” class a decade or so ago. So no it’s not from the local legend of the lost Spanish mound ;)

The still pretty awesome. Nice gold too. I'm jealous, as on just on the US side from you and we don't have nearly the gold deposits or placer streams you lucky folks have. I pan in Eastern Washington and all my spots are within 5 miles of border crossings lol. One spot by the Nelway crossing, one by the Laurier crossing, and one almost literally on the border near the Ferry crossing. I'm actually working a stream that flows out of Canada, on 4th of July creek (July creek in Canada)

@@vadenk4433 there is a very interesting story about a lost gold mine near July 4th creek suspected to be on your side of the boarder! Look up the “ghost towns and gold trails episode “lost mines” That whole area looks super promising
