Thanks for taking us/me along on your trip. Having been born/raised in Corpus Christi we had H.E.B. stores where my mom grocery shopped. We didn’t have Buc Ees there. Anyway, this brought back pleasant memories & I appreciate your talking as you drove & described places & things. I remember the architecture of court houses etc. most of all, I love me some Texas bbq. I do not miss the long miles. We do describe distance in time bc it would discourage some folks. I’ll hopefully visit my brother in Round Rock, other relatives in CC, San Antonio, Phlugerville, Houston, Dallas, Victoria & other south Texas places. Hopefully I’ll make it to Katy & more of your recipes. Thanks chef Jeffrey.

Chef Jeffrey, I enjoyed your road trip. You passed my home Town of Weimar, Texas, off I-10 West after Columbus, Texas. We have the best sausages in the world. Everybody from Houston, Texas and all over come for our sausages and fresh meat at Kaspers Meat Market and the bakery shop. Growing up as a little girl, my parents enjoyed eating from Luling, Elgin, Waelder and other Country Towns. That barbecue looks so good, I could have just eaten it right there with bread and a pepsi, lol. Thank God for giving you traveling Geace and Mercy. Your crew, definitely will enjoy this feast and you are the best. Stay safe.

We (my husband and I) loved being on the road with you! That was so refreshing! I love your videos! Ive seen several. You make everything look so easy. Can't wait to try your peach ice cream recipe. I love your values! You have a great crew, just by listening to you. You, yourself are a humble person. You draw persons like you. FYI, I am not complaining but just a suggestion: if you could slow down your camera movement when showing something, like all the items in Buckey's. We almost got dizzy from the fast movement. But like I said, I am NOT complaining. I am thankful that I found your videos. By the way, there is a Buckey's in Baytown and Madisonville. I too love Buckey's. Great video! You're right, we all should get along without race and hate issues. Would love Buc-ees, don't shop like I use to, but still love walnut fudge and cheesecake. San Antonio was great back in 2016, my first and only trip in Texas. Hope to attend your upcoming meet and greet, but if it's too crowded, I can't stay, not a crowd person, stay safe

My grandmother was from Luling and I like the City Market sausages better than Kreuz or Blacks sausages. However, I do think that all the sausages in that area are pretty good including Elgin sausages. I really like these road trips.

seems like plums period dont have that certain ripeness sweet dark color in the Inside now says it's a mushy color and the price of plums is more than plums.I miss a sweet plum.I live in Houston and I am so tired of wasting my money.

I have visited Lockhart, Krueger, Black's, Smitty's for BBQ and have been disappointed with the lack of flavor and tenderness (sausage is ok). They have made it on publicly as BBQ capital. I invite you to visit Corkscrew in Old Town Spring, as well as Gatlin's in Houston - no comparison. Great BBQ should not have to be covered with sauce to have flavor.

Everything's Big in TX! Don't take your Momma in Buckees. You'll never get outta there! The store is too big for me. Nice on all the veggies! Hard to pass on a good watermelon! Bar-B-Que is always good too. You would like the Courthouse my dad use to work in. It's an old one. Not a team member, but I don't ever want to be on camera either. Ha, we're all on camera everywhere today, unfortunately.
