Air Force brat here - grew up in San Antonio, TX! It is a great place - we had our prom at the Hemisphare Tower. I remember thinking the Alamo was smaller than I thought it would be. Love the River walk too. Thanks, OS.

GM Chef, glad to be on the road with you. I've not been to San Antonio in many many years. Nothing against you, but I said didn't want to go back to Texas. I couldn't deal with the heat. The River walk, I loved it, cause of the water, so Tranquil. The River walk was my favorite spot when I stayed in San Antonio. Loved it, loved , it loved it, but couldn't take the heat. This should be a contest, on how many times the Alamo was mentioned. I lost! 😅. I like to travel by myself too even if even an Art Fair. I don't want to babysit others 😅 I come and go it alone! We have a very nice Riverwalk in Naperville. It's pretty, but there's alot of people everywhere. If you haven't been to Washington DC ... You should definitely go. Talk about history. Over 70 Museums to check out. Hope you enjoyed your favorite .. DQ 🍦.. 🙏

Hey you!☺️💕 Thanks for taking us along with you on another "Road Trip!"🛣🍦 It was a great time! I usually get a croissant with sausage and egg when I'm out and if they are available.😋 Oh, and my daily coffee! You know Chef Jeffrey, I also love being around the water. Even though I never learned to swim a lick!😂...so land is always near. The water is so calming to me, I love the rain too. Flowers, plants, many green foliage are also, so beautiful. When you were telling us that time you and your coworkers were visiting Ripley's Believe It or Not that was something else! You won't believe this, but I stepped on a rusty nail a long time ago, when my girls were younger. I was outside in my backyard setting up my grill to barbecue, when I stepped on some old lumber that was back there. One of those planks had a rusty nail still in it! That nail went through my gym shoe, sock, and right into my foot!😫😖 Had to go to Urgent care, get a Tetanus shot, get it cleaned out, bandaged up then I couldn't walk on it, so they gave me crutches. One of the worst things to happen to me. I can only imagine how that man must've felt with a nail in his forehead!😲😬😫 Its crazy, how things will happen to some folks.😆 I like some good Mexican food too, sometimes. Anyway, enjoy the rest of your day! Until the next one!

I LOVE Buccees!!! I have spent entirely too much time and money in there. Cleanest bathrooms by far, I have so many t-shirts, pajamas, a pillow, a blanket, etc. They have really good and huge rice crispy treats by the registers. I turn into a kid when I go there. The adult me has to tell the kid in me to behave, that I can only get one t-shirt at a time, and don't buy too many snacks 🤣

You really surprised me today. This is what I have been wanting to see. Scenery and buildings.Much history.Thank you for this one.I have seen 3 different movies of the Alamo several times.All were good. I especially love the movie The First Texan.The riverwalk and the river- so serene,mall just lovely. I know The Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop had lots of goodies in it.Big lunch you had too. Lol Overseas is my favorite place to just wander around getting lost . Thanks for such a wonderful trip Chef Jeffrey for the Riverwalk is so peaceful and gorgeous I’ve always wanted to go and never have and the Alamo is very eerie I am a history buff as well I’ve always wanted to go and this looks like a great trip if I was there I would sit on the Riverwalk and walk back-and-forth for days on end back-and-forth back-and-forth and have to pry me away I would just love it there so much! It’s more beautiful than I even anticipated they did such a gorgeous job and the food looks wonderful I wonder which restaurant there makes the best Mexican food? I know that San Antonio is famous for the certain kind of Mexican food they originated that kind of food there… wonderful road trip one of my favorites hey I was wondering I know you’ve been all over Texas but you’ve never mentioned Marfa Texas which is a very obscure little town that has a wonderful serious art seen and I wondered if you’d ever been there that would be a wonderful trip for you to go to one day!
