7:45 your art looks alive. Yes it may be a “just a drawing” but you capture an image and plaster it onto the page one stroke of your pencil at a time. I just found your channel and you’ve inspired me to draw. I probably won’t be as good as you ( ever) but I do enjoy drawing now. I love how passionate she is. The sketchy watercolors are amazing~ I hope the negative remarks are constructive ones. It really sucks the life out of life when people cut others down to make themselves feel better. Sadists! I made one remark that was opinion, not hatred. I noticed the style of nose she was using and instead of seeing it through her mind I saw it through my eyes which had very little reference to her methods at the time. I noticed that when the face is tipped down, that puggy nose was still being drawn as if the face was upright. In retrospect, I should have whittled that comment down to this version. The nose has no reason to be ruddy in this pic unless that is a style. If it is a style, expect some haters because it makes the nose the central focus. A central focus should tell a story, much like the eyes which she says she likes to draw them first. This comment should have been what I wrote instead of "...what is up with the nose?" So, after watching about fifty of her videos, hitting like for every one of them, I can honestly say that I get the nose now. Peace~

8:30 yes wafflessss! Ikr! Whenever I draw like a small sketch of something it turns out so well but when I make like a finished piece it looks ugly. That’s why I avoid line art. I think it’s because when I’m just making like a random sketch I don’t put too much pressure on myself to make it look good so it actually kinda looks good. Also waffles I’m watching this vid five years later and u have improved soooo much I never realized it but when u compare it, there’s a huge difference. Keep going, u have helped me so much too:)

I really liked all the animal sketches! I get what you mean about putting down too much color with the water colors, i always go over board, but i thought it looked good on the elephant. I had a funk about how I was drawing faces recently, so I did a bunch of sketches of portraits i found on instagram and I feel like it helped a lot

Two years too late, but I’m glad for 2 things. That YOU hit an art wall. That makes me feel better. I always know “what” to draw but I can have bad execution days. Than, you liked the line art with watercolor wash. Me too. It’s nice. Almost always works which is good for slumps. I’m very detailed about drawing.
