I Spent One Day in Santa Cruz, Bolivia 🇧🇴

My Bolivian travels start today with a day with friends in #santacruzdelasierra #santacruz when I land at VVI Viru Viru Airport which is the main port of entry for the land locked country. This is my first time in #bolivia or #southamerica. I have just one day after landing at Viru Viru airport. Melanie and Daniel pick me up and give me a real tour around the city.

THe burning is not because they will get new land, it is a practice done by farmers to get ready the land for the new crop. Since it is a rainforest area, it is very expensive to use other means to clear the land after a harvest.

Tyically you need a new visa. I've not found any mention of Bolivia allowing expired passport visas to be used. but if you present it, they might accept it.
