I personally don't play on-line games very much anymore, but I've heard really good things about Insignia, and I think it's an awesome service by the fans for the fans😁 XBL on the OG Xbox was awesome with games like Crimson Skies, PSO, Mech Assault, Pandora Tomorrow, and of course Halo 2; happy to see a new generation being able to experience these great titles the way they were meant to be played. Super awesome video, Retro Jake. The 6th generation will forever be my all-time favorite generation of video games. Even if I grew up with it. I played sudeki when i was young with a friend and I remember it fondly, we rented it from blockbuster and werent able to finish it but probably logged 20-30 hours between friday and monday morning. I recently picked up a CIB physical copy and plan to play it again. No idea how its aged but if youre still thinking about it i remember it fondly at least.

Metal Dungeon was awesome, and New Legends, while it definitely has its issues, has that something special about it that I love. Great video. Love the system. I wish you included Deathrow, such an underrated gem! I dohave to disagree that Enclave will go up in price. It got an HD Remaster on Switch and PS4, so I don't see demand for it increasing. I fully agree Halo 1 > 2 🙌

I wish I had included Deathrow too, but I don't have it in the collection as of yet;( I've come across it a few times, and would have gotten it, but it's always either a loose copy or the box is not in good shape, and I'd rather have a CIB copy... one day. @@retrojakexy Enclave HD actually just went back in stock today on Limited Run's site. For Switch, PS4, and PS5. Definitely hold out for a CIB copy. I've been getting some games again that I sold back in the day like Crimson Sea, ToeJam & Earl 3 and Phantom Crash.

Love the OG XBox I tryed to convert everyone I knew from Poo S 2 to Xbox and no one got it, Me “it’s got a HD ,Ethernet port and XBox live and online gaming“ My Mates “urrhh what’s that” 🫣🤬🤬 Splinter Cell 2 was awesome, I remember playing co-op on line one night and there was a bit with two guards sat on a sofa and you had to sneak up behind them and kill both at the same time but they kept hearing us and turning round, in the end we worked out that they could hear us talking to each other 🤯 we had to whisper to each other as we sneaked up behind them ! Made it So atmospheric, What a feature for back then, Shit I ain’t seen a game do it since. Also Splinter Cell Double Agent was right at the end of OG Xbox and Start of Xbox360 So they released on both console but there totally different games made by different game studios both Ubisoft but one made by Montreal and one by Milan (I think or maybe Shanghai) but the OG Xbox version was a much better game !! Rainbow Six Online Co-Op was Excellent, I remember the shower gun fight was the same as the film The Rock, Arrhh it was so good brings back mad memories

@@retrojakexy The original Xbox was my first console (got it when I was 7, now 27) but was unfortunately thrown away quite a few years ago and it still annoys me😩 But I regularly think about the console and games I could think play again and games I never got completed, which annoys me😅 But a few days ago, a refurbished Original Xbox Crystal Edition came up, with original packaging, 2 s controllers and everything. So have been thinking about it for a few days now. But is it worth $550? How much does an original Xbox cost in that condition at the moment?? I live in a small country, so I don't see the original for sale often

The Crystal OG Xbox inbox is worth $220 us according to pricecharting.com, so $550 (assuming us) seems a bit steep unless it's molded or has something else special going on. You can get a regular Xbox out of box with everything you need for under $70 US regularly on ebay😁 Hope all that helps; thanks for watching!!

@@retrojakexy Hello and thanks for the reply. Yes, I think $550 was quite expensive compared to the ones I see on eBay for example. But I can't find any in good condition in my country (Norway) So then I have to import from abroad, which is mostly the UK. But then shipping will be higher, there is import tax and the UK has a different power cable/power socket (We have the EU power socket and the UK has its own) So do you know if the original Xbox has multi-voltage or works well as long as I have the right power cable ? The conspiracy I heard was that the original Xbox used boards that were also part of the drone weapons program and that the mother board could expand it's hard drive to two terabytes and hold the games that the drone operating code could be compiled from to ghost the global drone network. Something to do with special eprom designations for getting hidden identification. It gets real involved about how the eprom can be used so that the drone net will recognize someone but won't target them. It's the robot apocalypse Easy Pass Read Only Memory EPROM. Back in the early days one had to have mech assault, or 007 agent under fire, or a splinter cell disk to mod the box to get into the system, supposedly. It gets complex with how the legacy box Gen X played with has administrative Authority over newer gen boxes so that GenX gets to call the plays. Really nutball kind of stuff, it couldn't possibly be true but it is a real cool story.

You shouldn't sleep on the Xbox version of Double Agent. It was essentially Chaos Theory 2 while the 360 version was its own thing. The OG version is miles better and the only one worth playing.
