Move to France? We go to France to visit our friend Stephanie from Chateau Diaries at Lalande, and then we head to Paris to visit Vivienne from Chateau Love which has become our other house in France. Explore the sights of Paris and the French countryside, the Ramses exhibition, Egyptian Section of the Louvre Museum and have a pink Barbie party at the Chateau! Then we return to Italy to surprise Dr Zahi Hawass!

I love Dalida!!! The soundtrack of this video was a lovely surprise. And Joe Dassin, from Dalida’s times, was also amazing! ❤

Curtis, always enjoy seeing you and your videos. You are a handsome man anyway, but May I suggest growing back that beautiful hair! Surely your hubby would like that, as well.

My dear husband was fortunate enough to see the Ramses II exhibit when it toured the United States when he was a child. His parents took him out of school for the because they knew this would probably be a once in a lifetime opportunity for a boy growing up on a cattle and likely to make a living as a cowboy, or at least with a horse. He is just about the most widely read cowboy you would ever meet in world history, political science and philosophy. I'm glad that he had parents who understand that learning doesn't always take place in a classroom. And thank you for bringing Egypt to those of us who cannot travel there. Your "Cleopatra" documentary was phenomenal.

Curtis Thank you so much. I have a story about Zahi and how he is highly esteemed by my spouse. An engineer he worked the midnight shift & he would listen to Zahi call in from Cairo and speak to a radio personality in Las Vegas. He did this for years. Then my spouse would come home in the mornings and if it was my off day since he got home at 0600, he would wake me up and regale me with stories from Egypt. Then we went to an IMAX presentation and in the hushed room the figure of Zahi Hawass walked into the light out of the gloom. My spouse forgot himself and said in a loud voice of astonishment-I KNOW THAT MAN!!!! As 200 heads turned his way and he said-sorry sorry. I am now showing this video to him. I am so pleased you are doing these excellent episodes. Merci encore for the fine content and photography. I have your book as well. 5 Stars all around.

From one chateau to another, same warmth. What a great life you´re living with such kind friends. When I see Maria in the kitchen with a big sharp knife in her hand, always busy, and knowing she plays the piano so delicately and also with energy, I have a lot oe admiration for her creativity, and I also want to say "be careful with your hands, dear"... I grew up with the voice of Dalida on the radio in our home, and hearing my mother singing her songs in french, especially "Bambino" one of my sisters went to see her on stage in Paris, We all knew "J´attendrai" and " le temps des fleurs"... It was such a special time in France with all these great artists of several kinds, painters, musicians. I haven´t been to Montmartre Cemetary, but several times at the Louvre, -unforgetable egyptian Art- And the Eiffel tower is the magnetic spot of Paris. 😍

I really enjoyed that Curtis ... you managed to pack alot in and it shows you're an experienced film maker. Well done. It made me laugh, I went up the Eiffel Tower on a school trip, me too got out of the lift then was glued to the central wall... could not get anywhere near the edge ! So yes, good call, stay on the ground 😊 thanks for a lovely trip.

That doll was very creepy and I love how you always find something Egyptian. I haven't found a safari yet but I did find 2 animal sanctuarys that take volunteers. I love the Ramesses II exibit. I missed the exhibit in Vancouver for Expo '86. I had a ticket but one of my companions wandered off with 2 strangers. I was so angry with her. That was the reason we went to Ecpo '86. I drove more than 1,000 kms. Oh well. Next year. 🙂🇨🇦

Karl Lagerfeld owned the smallest house in Paris at one time... The obelisk of Ramses II wasn't given to France, Napoleon took(looted) it after a conquest.... Sorry you had to discover Paris under such crappy weather conditions.

@@CurtisRyanWoodside That's odd, because the French journalists have said for years that it was attained upon one of his campaigns, like things he took from Venezia... There are tons of pieces in the Louvre he took from across Europe, they must have just assumed and I have heard that for 35 years....
