It's unfortunate to hear that the aquarium is closing down. I hope the animals and fishes there can move to somewhere good. But man, I love watching Kotaro and Hana getting strolled around, it's so cute! Great to see that the hotel has a dedicated pool for pets as well, even though it says it's a dog's pool (well, I can't really imagine what other pets usually go for a swim, definitely not most house cats! XD), it's perfect for otters!

It's amazing that we still have aquariums at all. So much maintenance, liability, insurance, food, and staff to pay for, they would have to take in so much money. I wonder if it is a privately-owned aquarium, or a government owned entity.

Honestly I hope the animals will go to a better facility with more enrichment....the tanks and enclosures are desolate and undersized. The otter enclosure is especially depressing.

@@ooohlaa13 Given how much non-smuggled otters cost (just to get them, not counting caring for 'em), Kotsumet-Family was obviously very wealthy even before they got otters. But they pour a lot of that into giving Kotaro & Hana the best life possible while still being in Tokyo.

The owners impress me more and more. they take such great care of these Cuties. They are giving them such a beautiful life. Usually with otters I would of thought they belong out in the wild and free. Because I dont know much about domesticated otters.i assumed they arnt like dogs and mans bestfriend ,no one feels guilty about dogs being pets so not too familiar with otters But i have no doubt they are happy. These owners are taking amazing care. One of the best pet owners I've seen. They are literally like their children it's so beautiful to see. I love them Cuties.

I always say this, but i love these two Otters so much. i have a Westie, and i can't have any other animals because she is so jealous. I have to watch Kotaro and Hana and wish i had a pair of sweet otters like them. Thanks for a great video. FYI, I love my dog, but she doesn't allow me to have another pet, She is very dominate and jealous.

Kotaro and Hana are so beautiful! I have always loved Otters and their wonderful little personalities! Just looking at those little faces makes my heart melt🥰! Nature at it's finest and sweetest! I could sit here and watch them endlessly! It's so sad that the aquarium is closing. I just subscribed to your channel. Can't wait to watch more of Kotaro and Hana! Your channel is wonderful and makes people aware that Otters need to be protected and saved from extinction. Asian Otters are considered "Vulnerable," which is close to endangered. Some others are already on the Endangered list, like the Sea Otter, which is on the IUCN Red List. Maybe you could use your channel to make people more aware of this !
