WELCOME BACK LADIES 😊 lts been way too long. I still feel that us Outlander fans and Outlander exec's, and everyone involved got a !!!!! deal waiting this long. I got so turned off that I canceled the Starz network for what they did. But I'm looking forward to your videos. I'll be tuning in every week. Hang in there, you two. 😊

So happy you’re back! I’ve listened to your episodes many times during this drought. It’s been hard to keep up the enthusiasm and even rewatching episodes hasn’t done it for me. I had trouble finishing Book 9 and finally listened on Audible. In the end I decided that I really enjoyed the being immersed in the day to day simple pleasures of life on the Ridge with a more mature Jamie and Claire. Very sorry about your tough year and your dad’s passing. Again you two are a hoot and I’m looking forward to your recaps as much as the show.

So glad that you are back!!! Love these videos! So sorry about the loss of your father and for a rough year. 💔 Thanks for the family update because you know we are invested after all these years. But I’m definitely looking forward to more MOP! Always so fun! I thought book 9 was so slow and kind of a slog. I agree though that it was like checking in with old friends but there was just so much minutiae… daily life on the Ridge, whole sections on ailments and injuries, sermons, Claire in her garden, Jamie digging a privy… it took me months to get through. I had to read it in spurts. I just need the plot to PROGRESS!! I’ve been reading this series for over 30 years. I read Outlander in college and I am now a 52 year old grandma!! Come on! Get the story moving (or wrapping up!) I miss all the exciting twists that were in the first couple of books. This last book felt like a collection of vignettes. When we did return to the actual plot there were so many “we’ll talk about it laters” and “that’s a story for another time”. No! Readers have been waiting for some of these conversations to happen for decades! I also think so many of our favorite characters were barely mentioned and we are constantly being introduced to new ones! Please give us the characters and relationships that we have been invested in for decades. I don’t care about all the newcomers on the Ridge. Sheesh! I also think that Starz did a disservice to fans… too much time in between and people losing interest. I feel like I have been a super fan for years and even my interest is waning. How is the average casual viewer still excited to watch?? Also… I like William too! Book and Show! He’s misunderstood! 😜

I love William too! More show than book though. As far as stuff to watch, like Tracey, I know NOTHING about them, thus little interest, but I might give them a watch. For True Crime, I have been obsessed with the Delphi murders - if TC intrigued you, it’s very compelling

Condolences on the loss of your Dad. 😢 I’m a wee bit older than you two, but I have now lost both parents, and it’s jarring, especially if you don’t have a close inner circle, since those two humans have loved you the longest and the best. Thankfully I do have that, as I know you two do as well.

Going through the same thing with my 88 yo uncle his wife passed a few years ago and they didn't have any kids. He was found in the shower after five days. Broke his shoulder and he got MERSA in the bone. My 89 yo mom and 69 yo aunt went to see him in Alabama. Since she is the baby if the family she is his POA. He us still very sharp but because of what happened it really has him depressed. They realized if he stays in Alabama he will just die. Alabama is not a state for good medical care especially geriatrics. Six months later he is now going to NY to a Vet rehab. His Goddaughter is selling his house and one of my cousins was fixing his house so it could be sold while he was recooperating. His insurance is running out. He can't be alone anymore. Forgot about Graham being on here must watch again .

Even in the book the reason for Clair to return to america was still sketchy by the time a letter got to her and she got a boat it would be months, but I think they will write that family dynamic out and concentrate on william amaranthus etc as only one season left
