Twenty-nine lbs is something to be proud of for sure. I like your well-thought-out plan for the future and yeah, the five weeks in between will be a test of will-power for sure - but you can do it!! What I do when I don't want to overeat, is wear my too small pants and non-stretch tops - they keep reminding me to stop chewing. We are cheering you on - Go Tracey Go, Go Tracey Go!!!

I think you look great. I'm on mounjaro and I have lost 30 pounds. I started it because my A1C was so high but I was not expecting the weight loss. I have not had any side effects. It dropped my A1C by 3 points. I hope it works well for you. I'm on the 12.5 of the mounjaro. So far so good. Keep on keeping on my dear friend. Your an amazing lady. Love ya!! ❤❤😊

You are doing so great! It's going in the right direction, and that's the important bit. Though that's easier said than done right? I always want to lose it faster than I am. It seems like it's taking forever, and I want to get there already! I know I can sure gain it oh so fast! But if any of these pharmacies are treating you like that like what's the point for us, then give them the boot. Give your hard-earned money to a different pharmacy! We'll show them. 🤗 I have been following a lot of the KZbin channels talking about both Ozempic and Mounjaro, and maybe it is different in the US regarding the 2 medications - but I have heard that people aren't having to wait to switch between the 2 until after having the other one is out of their system. I have heard about people having side effects on one and then switching to a lower or similar dose in the other medication at the time of their next scheduled jab. It sounds like the transition is actually a bit easier with the side-effects when you do have some of the other one in your system. So hopefully you don't have to wait! 🙏🙏🙏 I've been on Mounjaro 2.5mg (the lowest dose) for 13 weeks. Shot 14 will be tomorrow. I've lost 23 pounds. But it's not working as well now at quieting the food noise and giving me appetite suppression as it was in all the previous weeks. My doctor is working with the insurance company to approve me going up to the next dose. I am so nervous that they won't cover it. So, I can only imagine what you're feeling at going 5 weeks without anything. If my insurance won't approve going up in dose then I have researched compounding pharmacies where I can pay out of pocket and go up in dose. Plus we have a huge shortage of Mounjaro in the US right now. A lot of pharmacies aren't able to get any stock. So even if insurance approves it, I might not be able to get it, or even my current dose. Yikes - it's all so stressful! ---And I EAT when I'm stressed! 🍬🍫🍟🍔 Oh my gosh, forgive MY waffling now! I do go on and on. I am rooting for you! I know you can do it! 💙💙💙 And I see your nails are looking fab-u-lous! 💅

That's interesting about not having to wait for swapping... the pharmacy here want me to wait 5 weeks hmmm so now I don't know what I should do.. more research I suppose. Yes I am a bit worried about it all being out of my system.. really hoping I don't put it all back on... Really hope your insurance covers it hun!!! You always give me plenty to think about Sharon x

@@mattingleyhouse I just googled if you have to wait between changing from one GLP-1 to another and the AI answer said the half-life is 7 days so you'd only really need to wait 2 weeks. That's better than 5. Maybe do a little research to tell your pharmacy. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long. I need a Mounjaro buddy! 💙

Sorted! I have just signed up with a pharmacy, when they approve I'll be starting it in a few weeks... Mounjaro Buddy!
Thank you Patti.. I'm going to keep at it, so happy to see weight finally come off :)

Well done on your weight loss. Please look into Slimming World I am nothing to do with them in any way but can only go off my experience although quite a few years ago now.I dont really know much about what you can have now,but when I did it you could almost have anything ,pasta rice lean meats and syns for those naughty bits we all like.I lost 8 stone in 12 months this was 12yrs ago and sadly due to things happening in my life I have gained, but would still recommend.Well done again .
