If you use it to avoid making lifestyle changes then yes, come off and you go right back. I was apprehensive starting but it has helped so much already! I used to wake up with crippling anxiety and I had no energy to work out at all. Seriously, after the first dose the anxiety completely disappeared! I have been able to work into an exercise routine and actually do it. For me, this is a tool to change my lifestyle. I want to share my experience on Ozempic.. I was on it for 12 weeks and I lost 13 kilos, which is 28 pounds. It made me extremely tired, dizzy and fatigued. Also you have to drink a lot of water, otherwise you can get dehydrated and it’s a great way to get Urinary Tract Infection. You can only eat very little, but it’s not a normal way to lose weight, Here in Australia, there was a vast shortage of Ozempic for the diabetics.. So my Doctor put me on Saxenda. I was only on it forr 3 weeks, due severe pain from my abdomen, pancreas and my gall bladder. As a parting gift, I from Ozempic and Saxenda, I got the worst pain of my life - Gall stones.I ended up geting 3 gallstone attacks in 3 weeks. I ended up in ER and saw a Specialist. Within 1 week,I got my evil organ out. Till this day, I am still careful of what I eat. But all your sugar and carbs cravings comes back like a vengeance. Wishing you the very best of health. ❤

A deep deep perpetual feeling of nausea and disgust in your belly. My throat became raw from throwing up. Out of desperation to lose weight, I continued to take it. I saw weight loss, and the symptom became less severe but still present enough for me to be affected by my normal day to day activities. After about a week though, I could not handle the disgusting feeling and headaches and nausea and everything else. I threw it all away. Probably lost about a total of 7 pounds, but I still fluctuate now in my weight. Definitely don’t recommend it and I do regret buying it.

If a medication causes you to not be hungry or have food cravings, it's only logical that quitting the drug would also stop the appetite suppression. You have to make dietary changes (permanently), possibly therapy to help with unhealthy eating habits, and excersize. To have long term weight loss, you need to change the factors that made you gain weight. No drug on the planet will do that for you.

I gather by your comment that you're probably unaware of this, but there are known biological and brain related hormonal changes in people who are overweight, and these changes once they set in are not reversible. It is not solely about eating and exercise. For many people who for whatever reason become overweight, they most likely need to stay on medication like this to address this for the rest of their lives.

Been on it for almost a year now., as i am a Type-2 diabetic. 'll be 62 in mid-September. I'm 6'2", & down 40lbs to 275 now. Ozempic works fantastic for me! I'm also on Metformin, & have been for about 3 years. I was properly ramped-up to my present 1.0mg weekly dose. Getting used to Metformin took a couple months. For ME, adapting to OZ was uneventful. Thank goodness for OZ! I look & feel better, & am obviously thinner! I was pretty angry last winter when i had to get another months' refill. Had to try 3 different Pharmacies. Obviously..... weight-loss only users were creating the shortage for people who REALLY need it!! 😡

Dear Station Manager, I'm writing to follow up on a segment aired on The Today Show this morning, April 28th, 2024, that discussed Ozempic medication and its use for weight loss. I'm curious to learn more about the study mentioned in the segment. Specifically, who funded or conducted the research? Additionally, I'd like to understand if this is a topic relevant for your local news reporting. If so, could you point me towards any local coverage of Ozempic for weight loss?

I love my mounjaro my insurance, and most insurances aren’t covering it even though I’m type two. But it pays completely for ozempic. I sent a message to my PA, and she gave me the rundown and vomiting is prevalent on the drug. I am not looking forward to switching. I have another two doses, and I have to make the switch. The only good news that might come out of this is that if I can’t tolerate it the insurance company may have to pay for me to go back on the old one. I don’t know.

I do feel like i just was food satisfied when on it and not necessarily hungry like an animal like i was before i started shots altogether. It has given me an edge to not over eat.
