In the NYX contour palette the 3rd contour shade (when having the highlighting shades on top) is the same as their infamous taupe blush shade. The 2 contours in the left are warm and the the 2 on the right are cool.

I just wanted to thank you for doing this side-by-side with high end and drugstore makeup. I've been doing eye makeup for ages but i've never really gotten into full face makeup because finding good shades for fair skin has been murder. I picked up some of the nyx stuff you recommended and I'm really impressed! Just couldn't find the color corrector, but that'll be my next purchase, as well as some of the higher end stuff when i can afford the dive. Fairly Interested The It Cosmetics Foundation is my life girl!! I feel like it even changes to fit my skin as it wears which is crazy!! I know its technically supposed to since it's a correcting foundation but dang I wasn't expecting it to be this awesome! I can't get over it!!! You must at least try a sample! They make the color 'Light' in a travel size, but it's way too freaking dark! They need to get on making that travel size in Fair I tell ya! I would take it everywhere with me haha!

The only foundation I've ever found that is affordable and light enough for me is the Maybelline FitMe liquid foundation in 110 and in the winter it's still a little dark so I mix it with the illamasqua white base and it works fine. I spent ages trying to find a drugstore product that works, and I didn't even think that I was that pale before.

Aaaargh, your channel is literally the best thing on KZbin! Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid toner cleared my skin up like nothing and has kept it clear too. + the buffering lotion for any of those nasty up and coming spots (it will stop any break outs).... I don't rate Mario Badescu a lot in general, but that toner is such a hero product it's not even funny. I cannot stop singing its praises. Also, for all the super pale girls out there that said the Fit Me 110 is too dark. Try Illamasqua Skinbase foundation in SB02. It's the palest thing I've ever come across. It is on the pink side though, so I mix it with SB03 (much darker, very yellow) to create a super pale neutral shade.

+Maighdean Gemini Girl!! I hear ya! I feel like my shade if pale changes throughout the year. It can be super aggravating that companies don't have more shades of fair skin foundations. Some of us are on the pinker side and others more yellow toned, but I'm on the neutral side and feel like my shade is constantly changing. That being said, I'm never ever a shade above the lightest shade (if the lightest shade even matches), so I feel like one or two lightest options are super frustrating!! Especially when there are like 7 shades available in light or medium skin options!! Ya feel? ERRR pale girl problems!

It's weird too because my face is super pink and my body is a visible mix of all three so when I use either one of the three tones I end up not matching my body 😒 I'm lucky enough I just stay the same shade and tone year round though unless I get sun burnt because then I get more freckles and redness but I don't tan at all so I guess it's a plus

I can't find the right foundation for me, I have always struggled with finding the right tone and type of foundation, it is either too yellow or too dark, or too cakey or doesn't blend well or cover up enough, and even when I have found the right foundation for my skin colour, yet again it's the same problem, it doesn't cover up well cause it's a powder, and I tend to find powders that are to powdery, dry out my skin and it becomes flakey, but foundations that are too liquidy, tend to be the ones to yellow, or don't cover up well. I need the perfect CHEAP foundation for someone with super pale dry skin, that can cover up red areas without it looking gross, and without making me look cakey, and at the same time covering up just enough to get rid of my horrible pimples.

Your Senpai L'Oreal true match in the lightest shade is really good for really pale skin. It has a dewy finish but you can put powder over it. It has good coverage too
