I was 13 almost 14 so it’s a little different but she doesn’t just bring her to the bar scene on the regular lmao

Abbey, I am 18 days sober from alcohol today. That is the longest I have ever gone. I want to thank you for showing me sobriety is not boring but full of joy and that no matter how bad things got I could turn it around. Your content has potentially saved me my life. Thank you for being a light in dark places when all other lights went out.

Oh my god are you kidding me 18 days that is fucking amazing. I remember when I had eaten days and I thought it it felt like 18 years but 18 days will turn into 30 which will turn into a year which will turn into 18 months which will turn into five years. Just keep doing what you’ve done these last 18 days and it will multiply and be easier every day I am I almost 13 years and I hate even saying that because I remember when I was early on I thought oh my God like you have no idea what I’m going through because it’s been so long for you, but I promise you I never ever forget that day that I made that decision I never forget with those withdraws that like I never ever forget what it’s like in rehab and I will always remember my last high

10:17 "We can never know what it feels like to be Myla" and tbh i think thats what sets you apart from a lot of parents. Yall (including Bobby) practice so much self awareness and give your baby the room to grow within her own unique situation. i can hear the thoughtfulness and consideration in your voice and it honestly moves me to tears. if i ever have a daughter, i hope i can be as patient, considerate and compassionate as you are.

You are so right I remember as a child my mama would always let me get fake nails from Kmart or Walmart and I thought I was something. She was worried about taking me to nail salons because she didn't want me to get a fungus but I was allowed to go for prom and certain events and when I was 19 I ended up getting a fungus that came from going to the nail salons. Which occasionally I still go to the nail salon to get my nails done but I usually stick with press on nails. We would have Spa nights where she taught me how to take care of my skin when I got older and we would do each other's makeup. Saturday's was our day for shopping and she always made sure that I was dressed InStyle and whatever was in fashion at the time she knew all about it I made sure that I rocked it. Now that I'm older I do the same things with my daughter and I have so many fond memories with my mama. The only thing she didn't allow was for me to wear the shiny white eyeshadow which was everything back in the late 90s early 2000 but with that said I could wear it when I was with my friends she just wouldn't buy it for me laugh out loud❤❤❤

Fairly new to your channel, I mainly watch your shorts but mama you're an AMAZING parent. Before my two boys I had a drinking problem and had a coke addiction. I've been clean of any and all drugs for 7 years and limited my alcohol consumption where I now haven't had a drink in a year. But if I do drink I only ever have one drink and it's only on a special occasion if I'm with family. I used to be so embarrassed and shameful and you help embrace it and bring awareness. I'm so proud and I love your coparent relationship with mylas dad. I respect it so much. My kids have a step father and he's absolutely amazing with my kids. He loves them like his own. All that aside, let people say what they want. Never have it question you as a mama. You're amazing and the fact you are so open and there for your baby girl will only have her trust you more especially as she gets older. You're doing an awesome job raising the sweetest girl! ❤❤

The home words also make sense because I feel like I was never taught what those words meant which encouraged me to say those things. I definitely wrote down a lot of your tips and tricks. It’s great how you also are teaching her cleaning is important and to handle it head on !😊 This gave me so much hope as a new single mom. Hey listen, negative comments don’t mean shit. As someone who came form divorced parents that were addicts and couldn’t get past the divorce for ten years. I’m still dealing with it today. Seeing Myla and you packing up her bags makes my heart so happy. I remember packing my bags the night before checking over and over in the morning or before school that I had everything. And by everything meaning the stuffed animals that were my comfort. Where even after 22 years are the things that still bring me comfort. I slept with alll four of my childhood stuffed animals last night. So ignore that shit. Myla is gonna grow up and hopefully not need that familiar scent because she knows she is so loved. No where and in no sense a bad mom. I have never experienced half of the stuff you have with your mom. Cooking. Her doing my hair. It makes me happy. I can’t wait to have a daughter to show her that type of love, the Love you give Myla. And he’ll yeah my daughter will be able to say damn when she’s home alone. I completely agree with everything. You’re doing amazing literally. She’s gonna grow up feeling loved important and secure. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

You’re so right words are words unless they are descriptive to offend someone…like “slow” it’s not a curse word but is will offend certain people but saying shit is not going to offend someone unless you directly call someone a piece of shit However the one thing I don’t agree with is allowing her to watch KZbin but that’s just my opinion…my daughter with restrictions and all learned about TikTok from KZbin and starting talking about wanting to make TikTok videos so I had to cut it off completely…I am not affiliated with TikTok in any way shape or form but the two go hand in hand

I honestly feel like people nitpick parenting styles way too much. In my opinion, as long as you’re teaching your kids to be kind human beings who respect those around them it doesn’t matter if they swear at home or not. The fact that people feel entitled and cocky enough tell others how to parent is wild. Also the thing about over compensating because you don’t see your kid all the time is very true. My parents are divorced and the schedule had me seeing my mom and dad seeing me 2 days a week with weekends alternating and both did more of some things than others. My dad would always make me any type of food I wanted and never said no to dessert. And while looking back it wasn’t super healthy but it was something he could do to make up for the time we didn’t spend together. So I definitely get that a lot.

I was so invested in your words but the video cut off when you were explaining time management. Was it accidentally cut off? I'd love to hear more.

I’m the same exact way as you with my son except I am lucky to have him 24/7 - I am a recovering junkie and I love to see other moms like us speak out and be open about it. I am proud of you ❤

I curse a lot lol but I'm never directing it at people like I might say "this pizza is effing banging" but I would never walk up to somebody and say "eff you". I love your channel I think you do a great job.

19:44 you are the ONLY person I have met (aside from my mother) who sets their car clock 10mins fast. It's genuinely such a huge help; especially when you have terrible time management skills like myself lol

i feel like people forget that kids need to clothes shop more than adults. they are constantly growing in and out of items and oh this pair of jeans has holes in them she needs new ones. she doesn’t have older siblings so there aren’t as many hand me downs. also as someone who was super into makeup at young ages from being in dance, at that age it’s basically just fun stuff to put on your face. “omg this makes my lips turn a different color” was pretty much my only thought when i used lipstick i didn’t think it made me look prettier or ugly i was just mesmerized by it. i think you’re doing awesome mama but my obviously opinion doesn’t (nor should it) matter.

I think your rules are very valid and you seem like a great mom! I have one question, would you let myla have social media like tiktok or instagram when she’s a teenager or would she never be aloud to have it?

That’s what I’m saying! I at 28 just started messing with TikTok and how I wish I would’ve just stayed away cause now I find myself scrolling way too much seeing some stuff I didn’t go looking for. It’s not a place for the babies!
