Hello!
I hope everyone is doing well! It has been a couple of weeks since I've uploaded a video, but since the last video, My channel ‪@FaithMoncivais‬ has hit 500 subscribers! I'm so happy you all are here and on this journey with my family and me. I hope I help you, inspire you, and leave you feeling happy and loved.
Today's vlog is all about my lovely parents! They were able to come to visit us for 10 days here in Germany or Europe! They were able to see 5 different countries with the amount of time given.
It had been 1 whole year since we moved from Ohio to Ramstein, Germany, and wow, I sure missed my parents. They are the best people I know and the best parents anyone could ask for. Seeing them with Vera was so special and something I hope to never forget. This was their first day in Germany; I feel like It was a perfect little day in our life over here. My parents were so excited about every little thing. It reminded Leo and me of how we acted when we first got here. My dad even got a translater machine, so funny! It definitely came in handy. They even went down the slide that I almost broke a leg on! I just love them.
The LoungeCafe is a great little spot open on the weekends. So make sure to check them out!
The next vlog will be about the Cochem Castle in Germany!

As a German I really loved to see open minded Americans visiting my country. I hope your parents enjoy it and that they are not dissatisfied with the somehow straight forward German reactions.

My parents love Germany. I would tell my parents how different it was over here and beautiful. They didn’t understand until they got here and had seen it for themselves. Actually, everyone was incredibly nice and helpful with everything. They had a good experience.

well i have idea why is tastes different..because of Germanys very high food standarts/regulations even the american mcdonalds in germany gets controlled i think once every 2 months. american companys are allowed to put thinks in your food wich the german department of food would never allowe.

The hardest thing of travelling from the US to Germany is the jet lag. When I came back from Atlanta it took me 3 days to recover. The opposite direction is easier in my opinion

Bautzener Senf? OK, the total lack of culture isn't your fault. You're a Prussian, ok a Saxonian, but that's the same. The only true mustard is Händlmaier Senf form Regensburg. ;-) or depending where are you from one of the other hundreds of other local mustards.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but just so you know, picking apples directly from a tree is considered theft. You can pick up a small amount of windfall apples if you find some on the ground. Orchard owners are not happy with that either, but at least you won't get in trouble with the law. I hope you don't mind my slightly negative comment, no offense meant.

@@FaithMoncivais at the airport : there is a barrier, you should not cross At the field: It is allowed to pick up apples from the bottom but it is not correct to pick them up from the tree, or to take your child (grandchild) on your arms and show her how she can pick some fruit. The owner of the trees has a lot to do and when he earns the fruit than he has a profit. Of course only three apples ard not forbidden, but you SHOW your girl how it works ..
