Tom: "You're not a blood-relative, you dont get money from my will." Also Tom: "We're family, give me money from that will."

What a fucking hypocrite it seems these type’s always ask for money If a child either inherits money or is making decent money for themselves. These terrible parents who didn’t care about them all off the sudden they care even though they have never showed any previously.

@MichaelOlojo-kg5hx They didn't do anything for Op other than the legal minimum, and in terms of emotional support they were in negative balance. They did not pay for Op's college. And who ever said an inheritance is based on merit? To the aunt, she saw the little girl Op and saw herself in her.

It’s so unfortunate that lazy creators make up stories with AI, and ignore the treasure trove of stories actually available on Reddit if you put a little effort into looking. Lots of great content gets buried, but these channels just want to keep pumping out the same stuff as everyone else to boost viewership.
@shells500tutubo29 күн бұрын
If I weren't so lazy I would start a channel myself and dig around reddit for original, undiscovered stories. Undiscovered by KZbin creators that is. But I am not motivated enough, lol.

One thing, you don't do is tell other ppl about money, You receive. You should always do things in silence. Do not give them a dime. Tom never accepts you and your mom allows her new family to treat you like you didn't exist. Tom didn't want you be in his Will. So give him the same treatment. You will need to go LC to NC bc they are going to keep bothering you about money. They are going to keep figuring out away to make you give them money. Block them and move on

How could OPs mom think that she was the rightful heir? The money came from OP's dads side of the family it had nothing to do with the mom.

It’s absolutely shocking just how many people go through this kind of thing when they come into money, even when they have nice families, AI or not. There are way too many stories of “self-destructing” lotto winners who go bankrupt to the loud voices screaming for cash, families broken apart because they suddenly decide to treat their “loved one” like an ATM and blame them for being “greedy,” or even worse, sue them into oblivion when they don’t pony up, as if saying “if you can’t have it, no one can, (but actually, lawyers can instead).” The worst ones are the ones who throw a temper tantrum and start destroying a person’s social circle. It’s all rather pathetic and makes me rethink the commonly accepted (not the dictionary) definition of “greedy.”

this video was really well done, I appreciate the editing and storytelling. it’s hard to see how family dynamics can get so complicated, but honestly, I think it’s a bit extreme to cut someone out completely just because they aren't biologically related. like, shouldn't love and support be more important than blood?

this video was really thought-provoking and well-made. i appreciate the creator for sharing such a personal story. but honestly, it makes me wonder if family bonds should be strictly tied to biology. i mean, can’t love and acceptance go beyond blood relations? it seems kinda harsh to disown someone just because of that. what do you all think?
@RoudebushVredenburg9 күн бұрын
great video, really well done! it's interesting to see these stories, but i can't help but think that cutting someone out of the will feels a bit extreme. i mean, family dynamics can be so complicated, and isn’t it possible to find a middle ground instead of going to such lengths?

this video was really intriguing and well-put together, you did a great job presenting such a sensitive topic. i have to say though, while i understand the pain of being disowned, it makes me wonder if there could've been more dialogue or resolution before reaching that point. some might argue that it's a parent's right to prefer biological ties, but can love really be measured that way?
@ShadabCimen5 күн бұрын
this video was really eye-opening and made me think a lot. while i totally understand the hurt and confusion from being disowned, i can’t help but wonder if there’s more to the story. i mean, family dynamics can be super complicated, and sometimes people have reasons we might not fully grasp. it’s just a tough situation all around, but it raises questions about what family really means. what do you all think?
@TamseelPandey9 күн бұрын
this video is really thought-provoking and I appreciate the openness in sharing such a personal story. however, i can't help but feel that disowning someone over biological ties is a step too far. isn't family about more than just blood? maybe we should consider how unconditional love plays a role in these situations.

really enjoyed this video, it's so gut-wrenching to hear these stories. but honestly, i wonder if the whole concept of biological ties being so important is a bit outdated. shouldn't love and support define a family more than blood? just a thought!

That's what got me as well. Like, she was married to her husband. She was entitled to anything left in HIS will. Her sister in law can do with her assets as she damn well pleases. Just because it's 'her former husband's' side of the family, doesn't do shit. She wouldn't even be entitled to get anything from his parents, if they were still alive.
