Wifey and I listened and she brought something that didn’t add up. If the credit card company reversed the charge that means OP wasn’t charged for the 93k, which should mean the cruise line didn’t get paid for the cruise. So how was OP able to transfer a charge to his brother when he wasn’t authorized to make for a cruise that he never even took because it wasn’t paid for? What creditor does he owe money to and how???

"This isn't about the money, it's about the principle". Err it most certainly is about the money, $93 000 isn't pocket money! I'll be honest this one had me laughing so much at the audacity of the family. Very well written except working in a coal mine isn't degrading work - it's honest hard work that most people these days couldn't comprehend.

It is AI written. That whole, "it's not about the money, but principle" idea is in a bunch of different stories. The AI just finds different ways to write the same things. Other common lines include variations of "you made this bed, now you lie in it", "[parent] sighed like I was being unreasonable", "you think you're too good for us, just because you have money", etc.

Yes, they will. If it’s not their money, take your money, spend it like it’s nobody business I know that happened to someone it didn’t happen to me, but I know what happened to someone else and it took him to court and the judge made him pay all the money back with interest, and they had to sell their house and both their cars. And I stand behind him all the way he is my childhood friend, and I told him take them to court. I don’t care. It is your mother, a father take them to court they have no right to do that to you. I gave him a push, and he went through eighth of the way and he got all his money back and pass this on him at home. You don’t need a Measure modified but you got me as a friend and he said OK and he cut ties with Them. And his golden Baby brother hey sweetie I did it for last time we heard is living in the shelter somewhere and we live in our life large. He’s my cousin, but we saw each other brothers I was born the same month same day same year and we both live happy I am his wife and kids and me and my wife and kids white pass away. Our kids are grown and gone and then we hang together as brothers and he passed away five years ago and I think the oldest that me and him been through when we have each other’s back and one day, my terrible come when I will see him again and say yo bro what’s happening up here? I gotta go now.

Yep collection wouldn’t go after his brother,it wasn’t his account his name wasn’t on it 🙄. He would have had to file a police report, have it documented then contact the 3 credit bureaus with proof it was fraudulent and have it removed from his credit report. The same with the bank , they could then decide if they wanted to go after his brother for fraud and theft of services.

So...they live somewhere that doesn't allow you to file bankruptcy? And what's the point of the bank calling after they've paid the charge? My bank calls me before they approve the charge and if I don't approve it the charge is declined. I'll be the vacation Nazi..."No vacation for you!"

Starting prices for world cruises on mainstream lines can range from around $25,000 per person to $60,000 depending on the length, Kuther said. Luxury world cruises are likely to cost upward of $70,000. Those prices will also likely include more than a typical cruise fare 😨 damn this is insane

I was thinking the same thing. The bank held up the charge and luxury cruise lines don't take I.O.U's. There should have been no transaction. Plus OP should be switching banks, the didn't find any of the other 43,000$ worth of charges suspicious enough to contact him.

$93k for a cruise line Royal or Carnival means you're living there for at least 6 months on a world tour. Cruises are one of the cheapest vacations because you share it with thousands of other guests. Yatch cruises are different, but one week is $30K, and in the Mediterranean trait means you're going to Italy, Croatia, Spain, Greece, Turkey, maybe Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, and Israel. Except for Italy, change is advantageous and even by going out with excursions and travel agents there you won't reach $93K. Ffs, even if you're partying all night on board you'd be smart to buy an all inclusive fee for bars and restaurants, right? I guess it was a cruiseline ship, because the upgrades mentioned later on. And Mediterranean traits are cheap and short, one week can bring you from Italy to Turkey and back... Still the max pricetag there is somewhat $7K/week. Ffs, even if you're partying all night on board you'd be smart to buy an all inclusive fee for bars and restaurants, right? Source: I didn't really made it up but I worked with travel agencies and went on hundreds of cruises as a tour operator for years. I recommend going on a cruise holiday to everybody because it's basically a classy all you can eat buffet with stops in nice places and it's really cheap as a vacation. $2.5K, all inclusive, 2 adults. Yatches are expensive af, but if you like summer, sea and you can spend ~30K/week, go...
