Fun fact for mom and dad: UA is a wordplay for eiyuu(A.U as pronounced) which means hero in japanese. For the name, i dont really memember in the manga if it is explained or what, but i think, for me, UA stands for Ultra Academy/Academia. My reason is because they do have catchphrase "Go forth, Plus Ultra", for letter U and to the title of the anime basically what i think

It is the early episodes of this show that remind me why I love it so much even today. Why what Deku is doing in todays episodes and chapters makes sense and matters in a way no other character could represent.

Incase any of you were wondering, "U.A" ("yoo ay") is a Japanese pun. Eiyuu ("ay yoo") means "hero" in Japanese, so the school the heroes attend is literally "hero university"
