My part in Crumbs by YakobNugget

Merry Christmas! I'm back after like 2 months and I finally got something nice to show. YakobNugget has hosted another Christmas Megacollab with the goal of making one this year with a nostalgic vibe.
Now, the moment I saw nostalgic and Christmas together I immediately thought of Calvin and Hobbes, an iconic comic strip series from the 90's even someone as young as me holds dear to the heart of my childhood, and I hope many who see this do too. I couldn't be happier with how I managed to replicate the artstyle of the comic, and took a few ideas from JamAttack on how to use default objects in creative ways to do stuff like this. But we all know the snowmen are by far the highlight, and I had a ridiculous amount of fun making them. So, to the few who actually read the theses I write in my descriptions, hope you enjoy!

Finally, YoReid is back at it again. Seriously though, this is absolutely gorgeous. Finally I get to see (At least a small part in a) New Year/Christmas-themed level that isn't soulless and generic as heck. Why do you always get to make the best parts in collaborations you're in? First, Planet X and now this? And just like with the aforementioned, I've never seen a parallax done *this good* in a level before. It looks so real yet so surreal! It's like you're travelling through a frozen in time (No pun intended) winter painting, it's so damn cool! All the little snowmen in the background that seem like nothing more than a meaningless background decoration have so much personality and character, and such adorable expressions! And the wobbly moving outline on all the objects? It actually looks like an old school Rubberhose cartoon! Absolutely an insane job with this YoReid, just like with all other of your masterpieces.
