I think the greatest weakness of Odd-eyes is its Pendulum-Archetype-designed-before-master-rule-4-Itus so while it has protagonist support privileges, it's far from perfect. Odd-eyes is probably my single favorite archetype, just because I always loved the idea of using all the summoning mechanics. but due to its glaring weakness, while it is a pendulum deck that can combo, that doesn't in and of itself, solve all the problems. While D/D/D is a combo deck that can pendulum, if that makes any sense. I might have suggested using a larger supreme king package but then its conflicting combos with odd-eyes. At this point I'm just hoping for a new master rule to let Pendulums off the leash. it would give them back their grind game. I was very glad to see this attempt to climb though, so thanks for making it. I wish you better luck on the next climb.

The unfortunate thing about "pure" odd eyes in my eyes is it's lack of starters before the pend summons. The deck has many ways to accelerate into making an almost unbreakable board, but it just lacks ways to get it going. This is why people use cards like darkwurm with shrine/foolish, as well as gate zero, specifically to have a way to start off without committing your normal summon. I personally like using those with curtain raiser just because if i draw any combination of curtain raiser/foolish/shrine and any other normal summon or extender in the deck, i can go into electrumite/beyond easily while still having the ability to go into other plays before i pend summon. There is no true 1 card combo, but with any of the cards I listed, you can do the electrumite astro play before pend summoning and can go into exceed or potentially SKSV and copy electrumite for more advantage. Other cards I really like in the deck are seer and butler at 3. Seer is great recursion that's searchable and can trigger arc pendulum's or astro's effects and butler is a decent starter and extender that can also trigger arc pendulum's or astro's effects. Arc pendulum and revolution are 3 ofs in the deck and you MUST have them at 3 because they're the heart and soul of the deck. Arc pendulum is good recursion, can be used as an extender, starter, has a good scale number and is a level 7 dark dragon. Revolution can search any pendulum dragon monster (which is why running darkwurm in the deck at 2 is good as well) and can be copied by SKSV, allowing you to wipe out your opponent's board and gy without committing much recourses and have a big dude on the field. IMO, monkeyboard, pend sorc and the kashitra package are fine to take out. Yes they are all great cards, but they don't bring as much as other cards do to the table. Almost all the performapals you play in the deck are odd eyes cards too, so they can all be searched via sky iris, joker or arc pendulum. Pend sorc is kind of a "win more" card in this deck because you don't rely on him to get pieces for you to start your plays or extend into them and he either ruins your scales, destroys another body, wastes arc pendulum's effect or multiple at the same time. Monkeyboard is unnecessary due to the same reasoning as pend sorc (most other cards search the deck for those cards already), isn't an odd eyes card, isn't a dark monster and is a scale 4 majority of the time, which is bad because you want to pend summon some level 4's or below sometimes. The Kashtira package would be better off being replaced with more pend cards or searchers (such as duelist alliance or spiral flame strike, or both) because being able to search the specific pieces you need actually matters a lot in this deck for example, arc pendulum is a card that can make the difference between winning or losing, or if you have it and the field spell in hand, searching for an odd eyes lv7 with the spells can make you not have to commit too much to making electrumite/beyond before pend summoning. I also see that you cut the 1 odd eyes pendulum dragon from the deck later. You should always be running at least 1. It isn't the best card, but it's a level 7 dark pendulum odd eyes card that's searchable from deck or can be summoned from deck, which is very relevant. Valet, gentrude and ladyange are difficult for me to decide on completely. I use them here and there, but out of all of them I'd say valet has come up the most, mainly because it's an odd eyes card, but also because it can manipulate it's level and sends a card, which fulfils seer's pendulum effect easily so i can pop it and trigger arc pendulum's effect. However other than that niche scenario, it doesn't do a whole lot else. Gentrude and ladyange are good in their own rights, but because neither have "odd eyes" in their names and only "performapal", it's much harder to have them see any use, especially with gentrude having the same scale number as arc pendulum. I also don't run ash blossom and imperm, just because I feel like the more gas you have, the better the deck will perform and bricking on hand traps (especially in a pend deck) is never ideal. As far as the extra deck goes, it's pretty much fine. It mainly comes down to player preference, but if it was me, I'd take out princess, amblowhale, elf and meteorburst for odd eyes rebellion, odd eyes rebellion overlord, odd eyes rebellion xyz dragon and a bagooska. You could also take out doomrider for something like selene iyw, but doomrider is a very very good card in this deck too. These are all just my personal insights and experiences with the deck, it all comes down to preference though and there isn't any "correct" way to play the deck in my eyes, which is what makes it fun for me to play. Pure odd eyes is a very slept on deck (especially in master duel) and I feel like people don't recognise that it's actually quite strong despite being unable to play many handtraps other decks would normally be able to play due to space issues.

I feel personally that odd eyes with more of the SK stuff is probably the way to go, at least in MD with better maxx c routes and a more defined extra deck with otk options, also, your best bet for dealing with yubel is SK gate zero, with z-arc on the field you take no damage so yubel can't just face ram you.

Pendulum is my favourite mechanics to use in YGO . I really don't mind the text in pendulum section cause most of the cards , just easy to understand effect. But it always weak against handtraps especially maxx C, nibiru or meta decks like fire king or snake eyes. That's one of the major reasons why i hate to climb rank in ranked match eventhough more gems can be achieved in higher rank

The Yubel/Numeron Deck Opening With Dark Hole Was Probably Just Forcing Out The Z-ARC Summon Because If Allowed To Be Used As An Interruption, It Shuts Down Both The Crash Burn Decks Through The Board Wipe. Edit: Got To The Bit Later Where you Explained How It Didn't Help Much Because 4k Booty To Crash Into. While True, Nuking Their Board Once Established (Especially The Numeron One) Does, I Believe, Shut Them Down For The Turn, Which Is Usually The Opening Needed To Deal With Them.
