May not be the results you want but, from an armchair perspective this is some of the most consistent I think I've seen you on the approach and your swing. Maybe one or two shots your backswing is getting up, other than that it's consistent, which is what bowling is. Great to see all the collaborations. Forrest clearly got his pap on point and yes you need to figure out and understand your paps and details. It makes a huge difference when you're at these levels. Great to see you sis supporting you too. She's never a day over 21! See you on the next one!

Great video great bowling you can’t controls the ball and the way it reads the lane but you say you should have bowled with at least something else with the urethane like start in the urathane then go to reactive I think if you went to reactive quicker you would have scored better
@johnjohns4056Ай бұрын
Okay, a disappointing tournament for you, but the form and swing are looking a lot better. Now you just need more consistency with the release. Overall, you looked pretty solid out there. 8:36 STAND UP AND FIGHT!! Buy another urethane ball. Put surface on one and keep the other shiny.
@jeffjohnson2731Ай бұрын
surface is everything in high volume patterns, even if shorter... I have done poorly in recent tournaments by not adding surface before starting and keeping my control balls at 2000... definitely need one or two at 1000 or less just to make better motions on fresh patterns... I did fine on transition, but horribly with over/under on fresh.
@220vlogsАй бұрын
Basically everyone else had 360 on their urethane balls here 😂
@EasyBowlingStatsАй бұрын
The swing looks really good! One thing you might want to consider practicing is adding some speed and moving right, that's where most of the big scores came from with urethane. Like you said, adding surface helps too. I think you're at the point now where all you need to do is add a higher speed shot to your bag of tricks and next year you'll be making some cuts. The swing is light years better than it was though, pretty impressed with how good it looks now!
@sealanceАй бұрын
Honestly, no. Lower the back swing a little bit so he doesn't pull it in front of his body instead.
@koz4338Ай бұрын
Your spare shot has the same release as your strike shot. You have to break the wrist and point your thumb directly at the spare with only forward roll.

Yeah, looks a lot better. I was thinking you needed a ball change in game 4 or 5. You said the urethane ball needed surface for a better reaction. So why not use a RR ball?

As longs as you stayed 2 boards out side the marker you struck but otherwise you were inconsistent. Keeping your shoulders back and staying more upright will keep you online. When you can't hit the same spot consistently don't blame it on 2 frames a game. A ball change down would've been something to try.
@heethen112Ай бұрын
all us armchair quarterbacks have so many tips.. i thought your releases look inconsistent and sometimes you were far right and when it was left it had way less hook. I AM NOBODY do not listen to us cuz we aren’t there and can barely see the boards. i did like your higher backswing but its cuz it looked powerful. just an algorithm comment..

@charleskelly807214 күн бұрын
you look like a bowler that misses left 1-3 boards every shot. I'm not a hater, I just want you to watch all your videos and critically analyze each 1st ball. you never carry. and I think you have an amazing set up, walk, form, and release. I think a coach would move 10 boards left initially and tilt more open and NEVER be a down and in bowler. LMK lol just at 12:38 as I was leaving you were set up perfectly and struck,.....I think you were being silly, but that is your line. DONT worry about PAP etc. if your body type isn't right on the lane dang and after also you were deep and it worked

I think you are closer than you think to bowling well on these PBA patterns. With that said, what you are doing is all wrong. It does not look right. Masters are masters of the basics. A nice form with steps timed with the pendulum arm swing; I think your form is too short. Should square shoulders or atleast not one that is so in front of the other one. But, its smart you are slowing down with that black hammer; Kevin gave you that advice. Go watch vidoes of Earl instructing. Sorry, I just had to comment. And, no I could not do better.
