This documents the fun I had picking it up here at Pearl Corporation's National Headquarters in Nashville and taking it home to unbox it.

How did you get to pick up your drums from Pearl? I thought you have to get them delivered or pick them up from the dealer/store? It looks like an awesome experience! I may have left with a few extra drums under my jacket! lol :)

Woah just saw this lol. As I said in the other comment my dealer was in IN and I live in Nashville. I know some of the great folks there and was working with them previously so when this came in I was like, let's save shipping money and time and I'll come grab them!

How long did it take from when you placed your order until you received your kit? I bought a 12 piece Reference on 1 April. They told me it should be ready Christmas.

Hey there. I was told typically there is a 6 month build period. Mine took about 6 months plus a week or two. They arrive in Nashville, then get shipped to your dealer, then to you. I live in Nashville and the dealer was in IN. So I was able to work it out where I just picked them up in person. With covid effecting shipping and lumber, 8 months doesn't seem too bad.

Haha. This is quite the particular kit man. Everything down to how many plies of wood are in each drum and what types of wood they are (and in what order) I designed. Completely custom! Pearl pulled it off so well! Always have a place for you here dude. Come on down!
